Are any of the Tourstage made in Japan anymore (or in China). I bet even my loved 2006 X-Wedges are chinese forged!! What about Miura's? Has he moved his operations for his 2006 CB-1006 out of Japan? Mizuno..I've heard that rumor before at least US market Mizzy's are not Japanese. Even Gauge has gone the chinese route I believe.

I'm just wondering what choices I'll have next spring when I buy my next set of forged CB's? Besides Scratch, will there be any other truely Japanese options??

Miura is made in Japan & Taiwan

Mizuno forged products are made in Japan

Srixon is made in Japan

Honma Beres is made in Japan

I know that the Endo's may feel great, but I want my next set to actually be 'made in Japan', not just a Japanese company. I thought that Mizuno US models were no longer forged in Japan. If that's not true, maybe I should opt for a custom MP-32 set!!

Then you should consider the irons from Hiro Matsumoto. It is available at TSG and of course, Japan which is where I brought my set. It is now available in gun metal black but it is the satin finish that you would appreciate the beauty and workmanship. Their forging is as soft if not softer than any Mizuno forged clubs like the old T-Zoid Pro from Japan.

Have a friend who was on the Yonex Long Drive/Trick Shot Team. Needless to say he has a lot of sets of Yonex. He is always trying to talk me into buying a set. Any word (good or bad) on Yonex irons? Forged in Japan?

I have hit some of them and they feel pretty good. I am not big on graphite shafts in my irons, so if they don't have them and I buy they would get steel in some form or another.

I noticed on a previous reply from Chris, that the Miura's are Japan and Taiwan. Any difference in quality?

I have a couple of the US MIURA wedges and I now have a set of "previously struck" MG 1005's from "e-ho", I mean "ebay" and the MG's feel like a different club. Could be the CB vs. B. :tsg_smilie_wah: I don't know!

Yes you can get the EPONs with custom specs.

MB is very different than CB in terms of feel. Yonex is not somthing i would suggest spending big money on.

I actually have 2 sets, one steel shaft (R200) and a graphite limited edition T Zoid Pro with a golf badge over the power bar with an up graded shaft. Both are Japanese versions and I would never part with the my limited edition. If I ever get my digital camera and programme working (and figure out how to post it), I would share it with you all.

From what I have read so far, can I expect the EPON to "feel a little softer" than the MIURA? I definetely noticed the difference in the "type of feel" between MIZUNO & MIURA.
