Allright boys and girls, just a fun little post here. Seems beer and golf sometimes go hand in hand and was just wondering what is the favorite beer of TSG'ers from around the world. I myself love quite a few different styles, ales and lagers mostly. In Japan, Sapporo takes it for me, but since I'm here the US I'll pick a domestic beer. Sam Adams lager, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Kona Brewing Company are just few favorites that come to mind. I love them ice cold!

Anyone else care to share their thoughts on this wonderfully delicious topic??

The Czechs make the best pilseners. Czechvar is the best of the best.

Tourspecgolfer, I think I speak for all the Canadians when I say we brew the best beer. Two Rivers is good, but Sleemans honey brown is the best when served near freezing on a 30*C day!

God Bless

Anyone ever try the Budwar from prague? Americans stole the name and design and created Budwiser. The original is from the Czech Republic, but let me tell you its much much better. Its like drinking Amstel or Heineken in Amsterdam.

The worse is drinking Asahi that has been bottled in Italy. Gross!

European's make the best beer in the world!

I've had Budwar, excellent Pilsner along with Pilsner Urquell, Warsteiner and Bitburger.

Theres a beer thats made where Im from called, "Spotted Cow". It has a fairly light flavor and is just so smooth. The only problem is, its only available in Wisconsin. I sure wish that the New Glarus Brewing Company would start shipping beer all over the U.S. but it hasnt happened yet.

Lagers:

Stella Artois, on draught or from a bottle but not a can.

Kronenbourg 1664, on draught/from a bottle/from a can.

Peroni, from a bottle

Staropramen on draught.

Beers/Ale:

Hob Goblin on draught/from a bottle.

Speckled Hen from a bottle.

Old Empire from a bottle.

Bishops Finger from a bottle.

The above is a small selection of some of my favourite tipples. And yes, some do taste different when drank from a can or bottle or pulled from a tap in a Pub.
