From EPON Customer Service:

"Currently the upgrade shafts that are available straight from the factory are:

Diamana Blue, Red and White

Graphite Design Quattro Tech, PT Series

Fujikura Rombax X series and V series

NGS Mach Line Proto

We are working on possibly adding a few other brands. An official list with full specs should be up on the site within a week or two. "

I spoke to Junpei over at Epon Forged this morning and he said he's getting inquiries already. He mentioned he got a question about shafts and he noted he forgot to Mention Mamiya Axiv, so add that to the list of upgrades.

Looked at the site under "News" and it looks like they plan to come out with a "High MOI Driver:TBA."

Yeah that's been discussed on the site in a few threads already. The new EMB driver should be out Mid December. It's in my sig. (^_^)

Hope their expansion into th US market will not dilute the brqand or sacrifice design and quality.

After talking to Junpei this morning it doesn't sould like it will. They are intent on keeping it high end and top quality and will not change any of their design or manufacturing methods. It's merely their move to spread the epon name globally.

That's what I said a few posts above (^_^)

It's not exactly square as we initially guessed months ago... It's just considered high MOI now.

WOW - so Niimi from Endo was right when he told me Epon would release a US/Euro site in a short matter of time.

Excellent, now us with not so fantastic Japanese language skills can also check out and read about the great Epon products on an official website and not just from the TSG community - awesome :tsg_smilie_surprise:

We need an Endo and Epon smiley btw.........

That seems to be the movement now. I've noticed a few other brands coming out with new drivers are going more to the triangular shape and away from the "box". I do think its a better concept. Shape is easier on the eye with still the same high MOI.

With the Epon site, its good to see. I think in order to continue to survive the line, it needed to broaden out to a wider market. I'm sure they'll stay high end as that's what Endo is. And, since Epon is direct descendent so to speak of Endo, it'll maintain high standards. Time will surely tell. There's one other thing that goes along with this. Endo is considered by many "the best" when it comes to forging. If it wasn't many companies wouldn't use them for their forgings. Since Epon is so closely associated with Endo, Epon must keep exceptional quality or else it looks bad for Endo. This is huge for a Japanese company as "face" and reputation are everything.
