TBone
Available lofts?
+TourSpecGolfer
Put in 20 holes yesterday with all lofts, 19/22/25 are what they will be available in. The shafts tested were the new Mach Line UT which comes standard in R & Stiff flex's I love this club, In fact I removed the 5 wood, the 9 wood and the #5 iron from the bag replaced for all 3 lofts. I hit this club from the bunker, from the Tee, and the fairway with ease. It has the same feel as the Epon AF701, its what I would consider a hollow 1 piece forging. Inside it has tungsten weighting for a low center of gravity. Hands down the best driving iron I have ever hit. PRGR's Zoom comes in at a distant 2nd and the Tourstage driving iron an even more distant 3rd place. I was getting a mid/high trajectory from hard pan turf and tight lies, from the fairway same deal. The 22* in R flex i was hitting about 185-190, the 19* in Stiff flex at a perfect 195-205 range and the 25* a nice 175ish. It worked perfectly for getting over long par 5 Arroyo's, off the Tee on short Par 4's, from Par 5 fairway bunkers, and the 25* was a par 3 life saver. The 9 wood no matter what shaft was not this accurate or predictable. I have had not so hot experiences with driving irons in the past, I tried hybrids and ended up doing my best with 5,7, and 9 fairway woods. Now I am getting the same amount of distance with a more accurate dispersion and more desirable trajectory.

sarintr
I love it too, AF101 are more forgiveness impacts with more distance and roll. I am test it 2time. It use new technilogy method. I feel more feeling in head. IF you never hit it , you never know the feel of the best driver in next generation. More compacts looking 460 head when you address. More square face angle easy to aim the target. More spring effect feeling with good roll and get more distance. More forgiving mistake shot hitting with high MOI. I think it get more useful and follow by specification. I am more confident. AF901 is very good feel and good accurancy. Easy or veryeasy with more confident too. Thank you sir

I'm think about replacing my 3 iron with one of these. Thanks. I would think that would be a good idea. I actually have an Epon Type-S as my 3 iron while all my other irons are X-blade 2's. The Type-S really fits the bill and I believe its called the 701's now. These new driving irons look to have incorporated similar design features as the Type-S only with more enhancements to enable the ball to be launched higher. These new driving irons look well done and definite winners in my opinion.
TBone
Why so few shaft options listed in the Proshop for the 901?
