xchangmanx
I just purchased a second set of KGX wedges this time w/the Tour AD shafts. Might as well order the back-ups now before they sell out like the AF wedges. LOL

jboy
Which of these wedges spin the most ?? Ball durability is not a issue so the more razor sharp grooves the better.

oukk
I tried the Epon KGX wedge. It felt really good. solid. I think it would be perfect for the 56* wedge. (I use 56 & 60 wedges) BUT, for the 60* wedge, the bouce was too much for me. I like the feel of sliding under the ball with 60* but KGX bounce angle was too much. Any suggestions?? Yes you should try another 60* with less bounce, trade or sell yours with someone who plays in softer conditions.

Any suggestions?? 11 deg bounce for a 60 deg wedge is higher than normal but you must have demo'ed on matt since there is still 2 foot of snow on the ground in Toronto. We do have softer than normal ground and bunkers, except on hardpan. Try again in real condition before making the decision. My problem with previous 56 or 58 Epon wedges was not enough bounce, i.e. Technity wedge 58/10. For fluffy soft Ohio sand, I like something in the 12 to 14 deg. range. I tried them on the matts of course. (It's still cold here as you know) Currently, I'm using 8* bounce 60* wedge and I like the 6* bounce better even on course. If I remember correctly, I don't think I play on soft courses often and also I don't use the 60* in the bunker. If you know low bounce wedges, let me know. Thanks. idrive
Please suggest me some wedges with crazy spin and hopefully doesn't shred the ball too much. I'm pretty sure the Epon Technity Wedges came in a 60* loft with 6* of bounce. STILL one of the best wedges ever. I'd ask Chris if he still has one laying around. Have him put your favorite shaft in it and you can thank me later.
xchangmanx
The Yamaha wedges have a hefty amount of spin w/low trajectory. Its a midsize wedge if I'm not mistaken. I've had um since Jan 08 and I still play um every week. I'd say this wedge is still one of my favorites because of the spin.
