Posted March 18, 200816 yr comment_148303 He is back... After the demise of Gauge Design Japan, owner George Takei planning a come back this April with his new brand George Spirits. Since his former company fell apart he has secured a job as lead designer and president of George Spirits a subsidiary of the huge Japanese construction company named Landcom. He is now reinventing some of his most popular designs from the past. The new GS putters are 3 piece forged putters with a face of 1005, and and body's made of 1020. This time he is coming back with, Drivers, Irons, Wedges, almost a dozen new putters along with some killer FW's and Hybrids. Here is just a sneak peak of what is soon to come.

March 19, 200816 yr Author comment_148356 I said the same thing to him because No one is a fan of the brand name. I am expecting 1st gen stuff to be pretty good but knowing him and his design skills he will go all out for 2nd gen product and so on.

March 20, 200816 yr comment_148362 Every time I see this thread, it reminds of that guy from the original star trek lol. Anyway, I like the simple design on the FW minus the stampings. Hopefully will get to see more good things in the near future.

Might be better than George Spirits. Club looks good but that name's got to go. No offense.
