Randy
Just picked up a set of ONOFF Iron Plus (4-PW, AW and SW). Only had a chance to chip and pitch with them and they had a really good feel, but won't be able to play or even get to the range with them until Saturday. I will post a review after the round, but until I have a chance to develop my opinion, wanted to see if anyone else had tried them and what they thought about this set of irons. Did a search and didn't find much. Aloha Randy

But leaning more on the Onoff. I'll wait till you give a little review. Where did you get those irons? Mahalo Alb
K2_2
Randy, You picked up a fantastic iron, just enjoy them! BTW, what shaft did you set them up with? I won't post a long review as my comments are probably already floating around the forum, but for a decent ballstriker, I think they provide a fantastic blend of feel, forgiveness, and most importantly for me, playability from a variety of lies. Out of the box, I think they have one of the more versatile grinds available on any JDM iron, hence the great result from a variety of lies. Alb, you've been thinking about these for awhile, you know you want to try them out! As mentioned though, the TC-550 is also a great iron, and if I was to pick up another set, that would be very high on my list. I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Cheers

rb2235
PM Chris for the killer price... it's way below that. (^_^) Chris has a brand new set with Nippon 1150's on ebay along with a list of several other goodies including a set of Tour Spec Epons(Type J). I am at $1100 on the ON/Offs but have not met the reserve...yet. Edited March 26, 2008 by yourpressed
plus1
I am in a dilemma - not sure whether to order a set of the 247 or the onoff plus. Both look sexy....... ANY ONE HAVE HEAD ON PICS?
plus1
PS i have a set of tour issue 247s with axiv shafts in the house. ...what is the difference between the 247s that chris sells and the apparent tour issue models? Also how do the plus forged compare to the 247s? I am thinking of getting anther set - and cant decide between another set of 247s with different shafts or just trying the larger plus irons. There were Satin & Chrome versions only. Daiwa Japan has confirmed many many times to me there is no Tour Issue of the Tour Issue model. Bottom line is stay away from almost everything labeled Tour Issue, Tour Issue TM is still made in China, Tour Issue Miura has nothing special in it when compared to retail Miura. Tour Issue Titleist is same as retail Titleist. ONOFF PLUS model is forged in China by Nelson. Great Iron design for sure but when you look at the plating and the grind, it obviously doesn't look made in Japan. We have both available right now at a great price. I personally would suggest CB247 over the Plus.
plus1
Thanks for clearing that up chris - any idea what shaft works best in the 247?
jacksonlui
how does the CB247 differ in terms of playability than the Miura 202s? they look identical, if they are, why pay the premium for on/off?
gocchin
The CB247's come from Miuraism which is Miura's high end tuning shop, they hand pick the best steel for all Miuraism irons which is why no Miuraism iron retails for under $2100. Extra extra tight tolerances (weight and finish) along with the best steel ensure Miura's best of the best irons.
jacksonlui
ok i see. has anyone tried the miuraism irons yet and compared it to the regular line?
