Posted September 8, 200816 yr comment_151841 Found small photo of what appears to be a Tourstage prototype set of Irons on the JPGA Tour. It's basic cavity and rounded features make me think it was a Miura production, eh but thats just a hunch, no data to back that up. Have a look gents, they appear stunning to me and we will have our fingers crossed these somehow come to life.
September 8, 200816 yr comment_151843 doesn't look like it has a lot of technology like the 2008 model. i would have thought they would start putting more tungsten to increase forgiveness on all their irons.
September 8, 200816 yr Author comment_151845 I agree and I don't think Tourstage would release such a basic design. It does remind me of the CB247 though and my best guess is this particular pro desired something he was very used to or played best with and they had it produced to satisfy him.
September 8, 200816 yr comment_151846 Are you kidding me? Those look like the B'stone J36 CB with TS stamped on there. Say it ain't so!!!

September 9, 200816 yr comment_151856 They look like the CB247 and George Spirits CBs. Very plain, clean and nice.
September 9, 200816 yr comment_151857 When I looked at the pictures I though that it looks like the CB 247. Aloha Randy
September 9, 200816 yr comment_151858 Really? Hmmm... I don't know... The J36 has a different looking sole, but I will admit the cavity did look a lot alike... http://www.bridgestonegolf.com/en/product/j36cavity.aspx LC P.S Chris, I got my 3-wood today. Thank you very much~ It looks great. Can't wait to try it out.
September 9, 200816 yr comment_151859 If they're the CB247, that's great. By the initial looks of the 09 X-drive, I'm guessing these will end up being the J36. Hope I'm wrong but sad if it's true. Edited September 9, 200816 yr by samuee
September 22, 200816 yr comment_152003 These irons were found in the bag of tour professional Tetsuji Hiratsuka. He says that muscle back or cavity back does not matter to him. The main thing he is concerned with is the amount of offset the clubs have. Hiratsuka says that even 1mm of difference in offset can make a big difference in ball flight. These irons have been in his bag for a while, so it is safe to assume that they are of the finest quality.
