MCsub
Is the 701R coming to the pro shop soon? Looks fantastic. Also, specific to Tourstage branded shirts, how far off is the sizing in Japan from a typical US shirt? Most of our stuff can run large, and I think it is the opposite overseas. A friend is visiting Japan soon and is going to bring me back a shirt and I am wondering what size to go for.

I can wear the medium for most brands in Japan (I am a small US size) but the Tourstage Medium is simply too big. The new 701R is going in the shop this week. Unbelievable demand for this driver... its already back ordered! Seems like everyone wants a deep face low trajectory fade ball.

I am a S/M in US stuff, so I think a medium Tourstage will work. Appreciate the input. So as for the driver, do you and Chris have an allotment for us or are yours already sold too? I just stumbled across it last night and it looks great. Thanks mate!
gocchin
We should be able to get some on order... Tourstage launched it quietly and probably did not anticipate the demand. A lot of people are actually going for the driver with the Kai'li in it.
xchangmanx
IMO from the face view it really looks like the titan driver from epon, (deep face) Question, does this guy replace the limited 901? or is it just an addon to the line?
gocchin
T, it's an addition to the line but in a way it does replace the 901 since the 901 is "Technically" a limited production model. It sounds like a driver that will fit you.... low trajectory, fade with the Kai'li!
xchangmanx
got it thanks!
jacksonlui
wow, can't wait for the deep faced drivers to come out. I couldn't warm up to the 701G as much as I'd like to.
idrive
I'm killing this combo, TS 901 Xdrive GD EV7 I haven't hit or seen in person the 701 series to compare.
+TourSpecGolfer
I forgot to order one for me These are one of those clubs that will eventually sell out before the masses learn of what a gem it is. By Then it will be to late. Looks like a great club, I loved the 460ZR by Epon and this face does remind me of it. If necessary I will have to adjust the head weighting to give it a higher ball flight. I wish it was available in 10.5. In regards to the apparel. It's tough because TourStage ProSpec fits me smaller than Paradiso, and certain TourStage Athlete shirts fit much larger than ProSpec as well. It's hit and miss. I cross my fingers hoping the size i get fits me perfect. I also highly suggest Japanese Golf Umbrellas and Rain Suites they are made very well compared to most offerings in the states.
