ihatebogies
Just looking for a little feedback on these, feel, versatility, forgiveness, etc. Thanks!
supo
Just looking for a little feedback on these, feel, versatility, forgiveness, etc. Thanks! yea i do., i love them but theres a bit of a differnce you cann notice between the new grooved wedges and the old for sure. if u a re going for new grooves, then these are really good., very soft. the spin out sdie say 70 yards from the fairway isnt as noticable as the closer u get to the greeen. they look real ly good sit beautifully. just a big call going to new grooves if u dont have to. +TourSpecGolfer
Yup if you need a forgiving wedge that conform to the new rules these are great to get into. Very user friendly is what I feel about them.
ihatebogies
Thanks, that's what I wanted to hear. I know a satin club with a raw face isn't for everyone but I really like the looks of it!
+TourSpecGolfer
The raw face is a big plus to me it has a softer feel and when it rust it seems the feel becomes enhanced even further. I've been told that the spin is improved as well but I see that as opinion not fact.
seesawgolfer
Ive been using these wedges for several months now. I like the fact they are conforming to the grooves rule, but i honestly can't tell the difference in spin between these and my old seida wedges i've had for a couple years. perhaps, the grooves got worn down a bit by use, but i don't see much of a difference on the green. The rupas has good spin, in fact i had a tournament where my partner nudged me asking if they were conforming! I haven't experienced much rust, nothing that can't be removed quickly. I'm one of those guys that can't stand the rust, but this wedge is ok with me. As for hitablity, I have consistent ball striking already so i really can't comment on that. I do recommend these for those that need to change to conforming grooves but don't want to miss out on the spin.
gocchin
I'm actually shafting up a set now with Yururi's own graphite wedge shaft made by Fujikura. I really like the looks of the Rupas, very well made and more refined than the original Seida, less offset and the raw face really frames the ball well.
