GolferX
Hi Supo67 I got a combo set of MP68 + MP 58 recently ............checked their spec and offset, the tie in very nicely, the long irons in Mp58 and short irons in MP68. I have always been a Mizuno fan, always come back to s set no matter what other goodies I have bought and use. I got my set re-shafted with KBS shafts. They are just sheer joy to hit, impact feel is just supreme, typical mizuno soft feel !! They are current favourite set in my collection. Love their looks.......just pure sex on stciks! Stew you like these and the yonex but your missing the gold the new 905 limiteds!! brush those suckers to look satin slam a solid shaft in it and game over! OR Custom Stamp/Finish/Grind MP-68's sound good too!

Eca
Stew, this is what i use with KBS. I have not used the kind of irons that you do but so far this is the best irons i have used. The design is kinda cheating as it is way too forgiving for a blade with added meat towards the toe. Very sexy looking and workable. I loved the MP33 but the mp68 is much better. Another thing i will add is this is like butter with the DGs shaft but feel clickier with KBS. I prefer the performance of the KBS but like the feel combo with the DGS300. oh yea and it is so slim sole so you wont have any problem like the epon model you sold :)
supo
well blind freddy has less troubles seeing and hitting the ball than i at the moment. they are great looking sticks. thin sole beautiful design never palyed a mizzy before, il try ANYYTHING at the moment tho. might swap him for another of my sets. like to have these in the stable . that will make my iorn collection pretty complete. Eca
Stew, I was swinging very smooth with this initially being a blade and trying not to lose distance by hitting the sweetspot more often. I was losing distance though about a club. One game i had to go aggresive with a 7 iron over trees (6iron distance) and the contact was horrible, not a nice sound, off the toe (a third of the ballmark on the shiny part).. found my ball pin high right bunker.. im like hmm I would have been 40yards short with the mp33. So when i started hitting it firm, the clubs really came alive. they are that forgiving but still the consistency of hammer hit rather than a frying pan and knockdown shots are a pleasure to hit. Another thing, doesnt even need a mix set. Up to 4 iron is easy on the deck. 3 iron is a little tougher but scary long teed up so perhaps a hybrid instead. cheers E Edited April 4, 2011 by Eca
