bogeydog
I am in search of a few hybrids. This is the first year I have dropped my 4 iron from the lineup. I haven't heard too much talk about JDM hybrids here on the forum. What, why do you play the hybrid?
supo
I had a big look at these earlier this yr. I tried the epon 901 The Roy colle tion Adams Tm burner Egg 22* Prgr egg4 iron I found the epon to be the nicest.soft feeling iron style but it didn't suit me I like wood style hybrid betterso I now have the egg and 4iron as My hybrids and they are going fine. Both are a.little.long the travel about 10+ yards further than I really want but I changed the shafts and that's prob why Thategg4iron is a beast of a club plays a lot more like a hybrid that an iron. That's what.I'm tending to go with more.often than not. But I still think as much as I hate to say it Taylor made utes are really hard to beat

In fact yesterday I got my first ever albatross using my 901 for my second shot! Its staying in the bag for sure!

It's old, but very reliable off tee and from tight or rough turf conditions. Forgiving, versatile and doesn't go left (which almost all other hybrids do for me!) I've been playing my fourteen UT-409 for half a year now. No albatross yet, but it's staying in the bag!
