TourStage 2011 905 Limited Edition Blade

Recommended Posts

Check it out guys, the new 905 Limited MB's by TourStage. Pretty damn sexy if you ask me. Just wish I could handle them.

I posted pics of the 905 CB in the GTI Blog today. Both are gonna get a review with Tatsuro. Any questions please ask here.

Ahh yes . . . TourStage blade irons. They make THE best looking blades in my eyes. I'd most likely give these some serious looks if I weren't still crazy about my 901's.

I would like to hear though how these new 905's compare to the 901's from anyone who has hit both.

While these do look very, very sexy, I still give the nod to the 901's in terms of looks though. Still, these babies are no slouch.

question for gochin perhaps:

you mention in your blog about how you may do the 905cb set and said something about making them a satin finish or look. How would you go about this? Also, could you compare these as well with the 703 cavity backs? Great looking sets for both the cb and mb. hope to see the video soon.

That was me who wrote the blog. If you look at the top of the posts it will say TourSpecGolfer or Gocchin and have our little avatars next to it.

In regards to the brushed satin "look" I tape of certain areas and put a couple of different brushing wheels to it. Here are some example pics of clubs that used to be shinny chrome:

It's pretty easy with a buffing wheel, compound, and for cavity backs I use a dremel tool to hit the tiny spots. I just hate how time consuming it is.

Here are some comparo pics.

wow.WOW.

i saw these recently and was stopped in mid stride.

im playing the 901s in australia in rotation in the worst conditions imaginable and they are jsut sesational.

not good off the toe, infact absolutely the worst, but they werent made for players who hit the toe a lot.

these look better than the yonex even.

oh gosh, if i sell a set of blades then these wil be too tempting im sure.

if only one could get hold of a 7 iron in both these and the yonex, it would make life so much easier......................................................,

A large rotary brush would probably help much in buffing, though you would also need both grinding and polishing wax. If it's possible, I suggest you visit a trophy maker's factory.

Are these conforming? Also what is the process for custom length and lie? Alternately can they be shipped unassembled or purchased as head only?

blades are stunning! 905 sole seems wide. Any comparison with 705 M available?

I think the soles are wider than traditional blades, They setup perfect the shape is unreal amazing I took just the MB 9&PW with the CB's and I'm loving those muscle backs.

They may be sold out now. I would have to check. Sorry assembled only, no custom specs, that all needs to be done aftermarket. These are the limiteds once a year.

I wish they done some nice limited wedges this year. :atsg_smilie_tourstage:
