FatMan
I like my RC TRC UT w/c is 20*. Being voted Japan's utility of the year speaks for itself.

zwan
Well, I like my Royal Collection BBD TRC hybrid (2009) from Stew.
suheric
I tried so many hybrids, and the new PRGR Egg+i is the easiest for sure. Also its super long, too
supo
roy coll pretty much anything very hard to beat. the trc models go great, the yamahas are more elongated, longer bodied . or if u like a more robsut workable model ,the onoff fairway wings pro spec are great, esp if u like broad soles on the utes. and as much as i hate to day it.., the TM white ghost thing or whatever rubbish marketing name they called it, goes extremely well, dead straight. point shoot dozo no feel tho, just dull boring TM but hard to say a bad word about it , just goes so incredibly straight Edited December 21, 2011 by supo67
Spoon
RC TRC if you like utility style, Srixon z uti for driving iron style.
wmclarenf1
I tried so many hybrids, and the new PRGR Egg+i is the easiest for sure. Also its super long, too Definitely so. A big +1.
gocchin
There are so many good ones but in the end it really depends on what kind of utility you want and the purpose of that utility. Do you like a wood style, iron style? Driving iron? Is distance or ease of use your main concern? Do you want high launch or low launch? What kind of courses do you play on? Ara selai
Like Gocchin says: it's what you want. Do you need a hybrid to replace your low irons, or for fairway rescues, or something more specialized? I agree with the other posters that RC is an outstanding "wood-like" hybrid, and it's my favorite.
feduher
Thanks to all, I´m looking for a hybrid, wood style, to replace the #3i, I think that Royal collection can be the solution, at least looks very well
gocchin
Thanks to all, I´m looking for a hybrid, wood style, to replace the #3i, I think that Royal collection can be the solution, at least looks very well The TRC is a great choice then, it has the distance of a fairway wood but the versatility of a utility and is shaped more towards wood style. It is great in all lies and can be tee'ed off with as well on long par 3's. Also has some nice pop to it.
scubawun
+1 for the RC TRC UT 20* got it in the SR flex graphite stock shaft. ball flight is a tad high but stable....really forgiving. easy swing for it, easy off all lies including teeing it up on Par 3s. did just that yesterday... 160m Par 3..... hit it sweet and all was left was simple birdie putt! yeah! DaleUK
I have a PRGR 9wood type thing.......I have never ever hit anything like it before...Silly Easy to Use... its fitted with a Matrix Ozik Xcon7 Shaft
idrive
Can't argue against the RC's as they are as good as it gets. I also think they are for the better player in general. I'm surprised PRGR doesn't get more love. If you are the average mid-high handicapper the PRGR Utes and FW's are some of the easiest to hit. gocchin
The PRGR egg i+ Utility is probably the easiest UT to hit and has the best distance. I bag one as well along with my TRC. But at address its more iron like and the TRC would suit the OP since he noted he is looking for wood style.
RIduffer
Having hit the 17* TRC and the 21* & 24* ONOFF ProSpec, I prefer the feeling of the ONOFF. It is much more solid feeling with the look of a compact wood. The RC head has a more "hollow" sound and feel very much in line with their FWs... sandee11
Iron like -- epon 901, Easy and long! FW like-- yamaha D UT , the only one I can hit. Have it with crazy UT shaft, don't think will search other rescue club!
+TourSpecGolfer
I've tried many this year. The stand outs were the Yonex UT for ease of use and it's desire to fly straight although it flies a little high. The Epon AF-902 was not bad. Easy to hit but flies way too high even with a Crazy shaft. TourStage X-UT with steel shaft was my accuracy all star of 2011. The TRC by Royal Collection was all around a solid performer. This year I really enjoyed lower trajectory UT's for the most part for their accuracy. When it comes to driving irons the Srixon Z-UTi was my fav of the year.
