Petethepilot
Chris, some of us (old guys) avoid Facebook. Please don't edit favouring one site over another! Pete
Duffer19
Chris, some of us (old guys) avoid Facebook. Please don't edit favouring one site over another! Pete Hear hear but Pete, I think we (old guys) are the minority here.
stevopagolf
Oh I am not sure about that. Old Guys Rule.! I avoid facebook as well. If you know me and want to find me, you can email me. Too much nonsense on Facebook for me.
+TourSpecGolfer
Actually the gentlemen out number the young guys here at TSG by quite a large margin. Will always favor the hardcore originals, even if it smells like moth balls in here...;)
stevopagolf
Mothballs and Ben Gay!
Mjr. D
I'm excited about this driver - mygolfspy.com gave the Bridgestone J40 which I presume is a very similar head to this, their best all time driver award!
+TourSpecGolfer
The J40 is waaaay different!
Mjr. D
Haha, ok then. Forget that. I know it's not adjustable.
+TourSpecGolfer
It's Materials and the design behind the face are the two biggest differences. It's also got the super thin crown they called integrated power body.
Mjr. D
When is it going to be available. I'm either going Epon Zero (if it's not exclusively in 10.5), Tourstage 707 or Egg 7. Egg 7 looks kind of big though... Other considerations are Yamaha 2012 and Crazy 435II but they don't do below 9, which stinks.
IshikawaFAN
So is this basically an r11 with endo face material? Anyone hitting it yet?
Mjr. D
No sure it's released yet... Man I can't decide between the new Callaway Razr FIT which is supposed to be AWESOME, japanese or not, the new Bridgestone J40 430, this Tourstage 707 or this mysterious Epon Zero! Deciding what equipment to buy is more difficult than playing the actual game.
IshikawaFAN
I've hit razor fit and j40. Bridgestone is soft and long. Neither are easy to hit but the j40 gets out there much easier and feels much better me.
IshikawaFAN
I didn't pick up a 703 but it looks very similar. Might bag the 707 when I see promised pics and vids from tsg.
Mjr. D
Oh nice, those are the two drivers I was interested in. mygolfspy.com gave the J40 the best driver they've ever reviewed award. How hard to you swing, high ball, low ball hitter, high spin, low spin?
Shankopotamus
Chances are not as fast as you, mr. 149 mph!
Mjr. D
Bah.... probably more like 145. Lol. No but seriously, are u a high ball hitter, low/high spin, etc..

How hard to you swing, high ball, low ball hitter, high spin, low spin? I'm definitely not a long drive contestant. 112mph here, I can squeeze a few in play 114ish. Mjr. D
Ya I can't see myself going Lynx. I'm really liking the looks of this Tourstage - I like Tourstage woods a lot. Irons not as much. The prices are so high it's just tough to justify when you can get a Bridgestone J40 or a Callaway Razr-FIT which are both VERY good drivers... just not Jspec (which does matter to me!).
