mygreenaliem
Want to change to JDM heads for 3 wood and utility - would appreciate opinions as to what to get. I know the PRGR spoons are favourite here, but I just don't like the look of them. I am guessing for 3 woods it would be the Yamaha 2012 but which model? For utility, I want a club to replace 3 iron - thoughts on Yamaha (again which model?) and Crazy appreciated. Shafts going into these will be Crazy FW and util. Thanks in advance. robbie
How about the Ryoma for the 3 wood and a RBZ for the Hybrid.......I know the RBZ hybrid isnt JDM but it is amazing !
supo
That rbz ute is very good super easy to hitstraight or the onoff fairway wings are similaly easy.

+TourSpecGolfer
I think ONOFF for FW & UT is a good bet. feel/performance/price is all there. Ryoma would be premium. Also the new Titleist VG3 FW/UT is severely underrated. By RC there's the VS Tour FW & the new 505 UT.
DaleUK
I like my Epon 202 but it's not the easiest to hit of the Deck!!
mygreenaliem
What about the Yamahas? Anyone pay them and with what shaft?

Chanaa
Never played the yammys but ....soon. I play RC tour vs bbd 14 deg in fw80, rc utilities 17 & 21 deg on crazy ute shafts. Love them to bits, doesnt launch high at all, controlled & penetrating. Had the ryoma f2, but the large head was hard to shape & too high into the wind. No diff in the distance between the rc & ryoma was my experience, the ryoma slightly easier off the deck but the rc better trajectory, dispersion & roll. The rc is easier to shape the ball both off deck & tee. My 21deg RC / crazy is the most used club in the bag = its like a strong 2/3 iron & lands soft without much roll. Easy off any lie. Blader-X
Can't say enough about Royal Collection. Just look at my sig.
xerobound
Royal collection always has a solid set up. But I really like the titleist vg3, a bit more forgiving.
Spoon
Have tried most of the 3ws, currently have the ryoma But I actually prefer my yonex ezone 3w. Monster of the tee , better than ryoma for off the tee use. Decent from the fairway.. Bst bang or your buck imho.. For ute I'm still in limbo, looking for a 20.. Outgrown my srix z-uti 18 driving iron.
