freehb04
I'm really liking these Kyoei RAFW-02s I have. Switched from chikara, don't get as much spin but they are softer and more controllable. I've hit the best wedge shots of my life with the v3 but they spin a bit too much on some stock chips and pitches if you hit them crisply. Would like to try kenmochi. Spoon
I'm sorry to hear that :-( I really appreciate your rule alot I must admit. You mentioned being envious about Stews luck living in the Bermuda triangle of golf, well I live in SWITZERLAND where you never get hold of great gear besides perhaps ONOFF, Maruman and some all the other international USDM companies but never Epon of RC or Yamaha etc. so don't expect them to return, bro ;-) that is classic!!! i like that haha. it looks like my no idle club rule will be broken as its cheaper for me down the line having a spare bag. i dont expect to see the RC s anytime soon. right now im enjoying the yamaha 52/58 inpres x. but down the line i may just opt to get the 210 epons in copper to match my choco 302s! also i have to agree with chris, the Akiras are very underrated. i tried a friends proto wedge and they were so easier to use on hardpan compared to my yamahas. i reckon they are the low bounce versions. Spoon
Is it possible to adjust the loft on Geotech Tour Issue? They have 53*, but I need 54* If they can do it, plz let me know. Thanks yeah no probs you can do that. bounce will increase by 1* which is honestly nothing. go for it.

potuna
The new Geotech Tour Issue is IMO the most underrated wedge available in Japan. What's good about it?
daamartin
Favourite wedges ever - Epon Technity 52/56/60 - even though mine are a bit worn I have just put them back in the bag with instant success. Simply perfect in every way. I am hoping the next Epon wedges to be released will be similar.....anybody heard anything? Henry
I ordered the Vokey forged in 50, 54 and 60 degrees. What should I expect out of these beauties?
swisstrader
Any love for Epon Copper 208KGX Wedges??
supo
i coundnt get on with mine. they certianly spin wll and have a lovely feel , but they were too chunky for my liking. i tried to love htem i really did, but i played the thinner kyoei much better in a wedge off so they ahd to go
swing981
for some reason the Epon wedges dont get alot of love
Spoon
for some reason the Epon wedges dont get alot of love the older technicity and 208 wedges were very good. i have no problem with the 210s in fact at the end of the day i might just settle for copper 210s! been going around circles looking for the perfect wedge. it doesnt exist! Craig
We are blessed at the moment with an absolute abundance of quality wedges both conforming and non conforming. I have tried most of them and all these mentioned are truly good stuff. My personal favorites are the Yururi Raw with Crazy steel wedge shafts but I must admit I would be happy to use any of about 12 different brands. Like Fairway woods I think hit whatever you like best as there is no real holy grail of wedges. Further to this I think the Geotech wedges are by far the best bang for your buck. dodo
I love the Epon 210 I also have the 208 but I play the the 210 better because it has less trailing edge. Much easier out of different lie's. Edited May 9, 2012 by dodo
Blader-X
the older technicity and 208 wedges were very good. i have no problem with the 210s in fact at the end of the day i might just settle for copper 210s! been going around circles looking for the perfect wedge. it doesnt exist! You know these new Vokey Forgeds just might be as close as perfect gets. They really are fantastic. The 62 lob has an excellent grind that doesn't get in the way of full or partial shots, and the 46 is deadly accurate with the ideal trajectory I've been looking for a long time. The feel as well is very solid with lots of feedback. I know before I even look at the face where I've hit it on the club. Excellent, brilliant wedge. And yea, I still say the RC DB Forged is the best sand wedge (56).
+TourSpecGolfer
In our wedge testing the Yamaha edged out the RC. I love the RC because it's forgiving & feels really nice. What was weird is the plated version felt just as good as the raw.... to me anyway not to Tatsuro (xerobound) My only issue is I wish it were a touch smaller say the size of the TourStage X-Wedge....yum! Agreed about the size. But for a sand wedge I do think its ideal, especially the grind. That same grind as well as allows me to hit full shots from 105 and in, so it does feel quite a role. The perfect size I think is the new Voks. Along with the grind pattern on the 62, absolutely ideal for me.
supo
in sydney i used only the yonex ezone and yamaha. they yamaha were EASILY the more spinnier(?) the ezone a bit more touchy feely, veyr thin wedges. both tho pailed into insignificane against the yururi raw-- crazy steels. id forgotton how good those are. the other one that are prob the MOST versatile ive hit are the mizuno tc 10 ( non fonforming) they can be put at any angle and the spin really realyl well. for a generic wedge the mizzys 2010 ONLY are the way to go. the 2011 conforming , for a conforming are very good , but against a non c oh dear

Spoon
currently using the 52/56/58 yamaha inpres x compliments of stew. i like them very much probably the easiest wedge i have used in terms of opening up. i hardly use the 56 , 58 is the most versatile for me

shacco
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the yamaha inpres x wedge from 2008 or so. These are pribably the most spinniest wedges i have seen.
