Reshafting Ryoma V-spec

Too all,

I live in California. Does anyone know a golf professional who can reshaft my Ryoma v-spec?

My Ryoma driver - Tour Ad stock needs to be reshafted with a Crazy CB 80II shaft that I just purchased.

It would be great if I can find someone around Bay Area of San Francisco so I can go wait for it.

Thank You.

D,

Anyone shop can reshaft your club. It's a matter of finding one that you'll trust to do a good job & not screw up your clubs.

I'm in the Bay Area & send my clubs all the way to Goodsie (a member here) in Texas. A little ways from California but, I prefer to have it done right.

I have my own private shipping company that just ships between me and Goodsie..... :tsg_smilie_laugh:

Down side is the ship time but some things are worth it....

Sorry I can't help with the Bay Area...

I live in SF and there are a lot of hacks working on clubs out here, so be careful/////u can always try the guys over at Fairway golf as well....they are used to dealing with high end japanese clubs

Robbie, Who is Joe Kwok in Bay Area?

I called Fairway golf (guess they are Japaneses) yesterday. They said they can reshaft my driver for me but they do not know Ryoma.

Like you said, hope they do not mess it up.

Hi David.....do a google search on Joe Kwok....he is considered one of the top builders in the United States ! Ive seen his work first hand and no doubt he is meticulous and does pristine work. The only caveat is that he is not cheap !

I know this is a late response, but Goodsie does all my work as well and I'm a little down the road south of you, LA area. Clubs sing when he's done with them. If you don't get what you're looking for from the shop you've found, drop Goodsie a PM. He really is that good.

Thanks much for all your helps especially Robbie..

Blader-x: I will send my next reshafting project to Goodsie. Google does not seem to find Goodsie golf. Appreciated it if you provide me with URL or address with phone.

Supo67: shinbashi golf science (Tokyo) is bit far from me. However I would love to visit Tokyo again one day.

Ryoma with Crazy CB 80II shaft is the best driver that I ever have. I missed fairway once cause I tried to kill the ball.

Now, I am looking for a 3 wood, wish I could try PRGR Spoon 15*. I wonder if anyone put Crazy on Spoon.

Hey David, Yes Egg Spoon + Crazy FW80 or Sigma is a jaw dropper! I'm a FW80 kinda guy but I know a couple of great members who swear by the Sigma.

Dead straight - penetrating - tons of distance.

Another plus one for goodsie. He knows all our clubs and shafts and works on all kinds of clubs for many of our customers.

Is frequently in contact with me about specs and shaft profiles and is up to speed on JDM.
