Craig
Hi Guys Thought I would share some thoughts on my new car. Previously had a 1992 Mercedes E220 which pretty much was ready for the scrap heap. Creaking and groaning at every turn. Looked at quite a few and ended up stuck between the Lexus GS 350 like Chris's and the Lexus ISF. After much consternation and discussions with car nuts Chris and Tario decided on the ISF. It is a 4 seater and I have a 5 person family. Winning move to start with. Man it is a nice car. Not too flash which is what I like and boy it is fast. Very comfy and handles like a dream and have I mentioned the sound. Fabulous especially when it opens up at high revs. Not quite as comfy as the GS but more than makes up for it performance and fun wise. Not quite as quick as the Merc C63 AMG but definately quicker than the BMW's. Have enclosed a few photos including the baby seat in the back and also proof that it does fit both a buggy and a set of clubs.

+TourSpecGolfer
Thx Gaijin, Yes I know I life in the states too although our HQ is in Japan. I was wondering about the AU where Craig is from. I know the ISF is insanely expensive there!!! Insanely!
Craig
Sorry Chris have only just seen this post again. Over here all luxury cars are just ridiculously expensive. The luxury car tax is just insane. It only applies to the original purchase price. So whatever is on it attracts 33% tax as well as 10% sales tax. It is not quite as hefty as that as it is complicated but pretty close. For example my car attracted total tax of just under 40% of the purchase price. Anything you add on after original purchase does not attract this tax. You got some ideas for me as I love this car. Would love to hear them if you do
supo
what about a steel wedge on the bonnet for pigeons?
Craig
Need one. would you suggest forged or cast. Cant let pigeon sh-t get on the paintwork. my 9 yo is still devastated that we ran over a pigeon the other day. "Did we kill him, is he really dead, really really. That is so mean." Still getting asked it.
