LOST MY GOLD's FACTORY WEDGE! CALL ME IF YOU HAVE IT -

Hi, I was at the Tee Time driving range yesterday here in Santa Barbara/Carpenteria and when I got home, I realized my 52* custom made Gold's Factory wedge was missing. I'm pretty bummed.

I'm not sure if there's anyone on this forum who is from around this area, but just in case, I thought i'd post this.

I'll give you a reward if you have it and return it.

Please call me - 805 845 1492

Appreciate it.

Rob.

Unfortunately no. I can't believe someone would just take a wedge they found a range, home with them and not take it to the pro shop.

If it was in a private club range, there is a good chance other members would return it but at a public range...... At the same time, I put shaft label with my name and contact # on each of my club just in case I misplace them.

It's not like it once was.......

Attitudes have changed.. instead of, wow someone left their wedge we need to turn it in... now it's..

cool, look what I found. It goes straight into their bag with the thought that you lost it they found it so now it's theirs.

Who ever found it has no idea what they've found. No idea the quality and expense.... people suck

We'll be watching ebay....

Yep sadly I have to agree with you. Times have definitely changed. It's a much more "me me me" world today. Sucks but it's true.

I appreciate keeping an eye open for it! $500 for a slip up is a lot to swallow.

While we're at it...

My 58* was left on #6, I realized it on #7. The two groups behind us were with us, part of our group.

After the round I asked the guys behind us if they had it... and then the next group and then... I got in a cart

and back tracked from 18 back and stopped and asked every person if they'd pick my wedge up. Nope

Arrived back at #6 and no wedge.

Someone bare face lied to me when asking if they'd seen my/picked my wedge up.

i have been very blessed and fortunate. i am very careless and spaced out at times

we play with carts and its mandatory to get caddies here in the PI. youl be surprised

at the stuff i have misplaced or dropped.

wedges, drivers, iphone, celphone , shades, Rangefinder and it all turned up. either

i realize holes later and pick it up with the group behind or the group behind sends it

to me with their caddy and cart.

when i see misplaced stuff like covers and drivers my first urge is to send it back asap!

ahh attitudes are changing for the worst.

finding stuff in the course and telling the owners that you did not find it when its sitting pretty

in the bag is the same as stealing. you can really tell what a person is made of in the GC!

C,

Not all the time.

I played in a private course maybe 17-18 years ago. I put my watch, my then girlfriend's watch and earrings in a small pouch then stuck it in my golf bag. There was a brief shower so the pouch could have fallen out while the caddy was bringing out the raincover. Found out it was missing after the round.

Caddies couldn't find it, it wasn't anywhere near where the raincover was brought out and put back. To their credit the club sent out 2 guys in a cart to scour the course for an hour.

I kept calling that club for 2-3 weeks after. No dice.

I still refer to that day was my most expensive round of golf ever.
