Vegaman
Saw these Nippon shafts yesterday in a club builders shop in Bangkok. Supposedly they are 80T and some sort of premium line from Nippon. According to the club builder they are popular right now because of the great performance/quality/price. supo
yup i hit thm at the show ,they are sposed to have the same peformacne as the modus shafts, they are meant to be a "set" the light blue white one??? i liked it a lot
+TourSpecGolfer
Have never hit it but we do know It's not full length. We asked at the show and they bounced around that question. No one can produce a full length 80T shaft at that price not even Quadra who makes their own.

Vegaman
Nippon should at least have very good QC I guess. These shafts are MIJ and at least partly 80T then. Even if they are not full length they still cost around 400 dollars or so, so hardly a budget shaft. I always thought Nippon always had "weirdly" low prices when it comes to graphite shafts. So for them to charge 400 dollars I thought it might be something special. Ok, not Diamana X special but at least as good as say Attas, Roddio and maybe even "lower end" Crazy shafts like the 46T ones.
JAMSTERFORGED
Just got this into play at weekend never missed a fairway!! I was told it has a rubber tip? I liked it a lot needless to say its in the bag for now
Ian-500
What's the ball flight like and how is the 'feel'. Can you compare it to ther shafts?
EdGolf
Does it makes the ball fly like superman? Rubber tip?? Interesting technology and concept.... Odd not much publicity on this shaft. Is it officially launch or this is just a proto?
JAMSTERFORGED
Not launched yet ( i know a man) 2.9 torque the feel is like the fujikura VC speeder 6.2 but slightly lower ball flight, my spin was 2200 107mph compared to fuji 2700 with this shaft very much more stable tip section. Put in R11 9. Head 58.5 lie 1* open playing length 45.5 d3.5sw deadweight 316. This shaft may go along way for Nippon

gian11
How would you compare the flex with other shafts, are they felt harder than others considering its 80T?
gian11
It seems that the N.S.Pro Regio formula isn't that popular here at TSG - I guess you might be missing a performer shaft here! I installed this on my Ryoma D-1 Special Tuning 10.5* and I couldn't be happier, this will be my "main" gamer for 2013. I tried the Quadra FEX in this head earlier but didn't really like it, not getting much distance and I was fighting the right side most of the time. I believe the Regio formula fits those players looking for higher trajectory, ease of use, stable (fairway finder) and long off the tee, very comfortable to hit quite similar with modus3. For me, what I really like is the increase of trajectory I'm getting at the moment, a bit higher compared to the V-Spec+CB46 10.5* combo. More fun to watch in the air and at least 10 yds more carry than the V-Spec+CB46 in the launch monitor. Launch angle changes from 12 degrees for the V-Spec+CB46 to 15 degrees for the Ryoma D-1 ST+Regio Formula. For N.S.Pro Regio Formula? BIG two thumbs up for me!!!!
