Any idea? I was looking at Epon's new ones for 2012 but I'd probably rather have an Epon Staff bag, eventually.

Anyway, does Ozio make a high quality stand bag? Tourstage? Miura? Anyone care to chime in?

I'm assuming you want JDM? I haven't used one personnally but these 3 companies have some great looking stand bags: WINWIN style, Zipang Studio and Dance with Dragon. I'd have anyone of these in a heart beat. Someone on here has a red Dance with Dragon but I can't remember who the hell it is. Sorry.

If you don't mind USDM, then I've and a Sun Mountain for 5 years before it fell to bits whilst being carried on the 2nd hole. That was a tiring game of golf! I had no problems with it up until then, apart from the odd little creak whilst being carried. Wierd.

I now have a Nike stand bag which is very comfortable and plenty of pockets. I've had it for 12 months so far with no problems. Very good build quality. I love the fact that it has a 14 hole divider too.

Never had an actual Ozio bag, but I've tried the odd Callaway/Cobra etc in a shop and they all had the strap designed by Izzo. They all seemed to be well built.

Was it Ozio/Ogio or Izzo that you meant?

I recently purchased the Tourstage Pro 2012 stand bag, the bag looked great but unfortunately it has not worn well and after a few months play the stand mechanism has broken and the bag has developed several faults, not sure if this is a one off. Problem with bags is the shipping charge is ridiculous and although Tario, is on the case not sure what can be done.

In future, especially with stand bags, I think I would purchase a non JDM brand and you cannot go wrong with either Sun Mountain or Ogio. They may not have the cachet of JDM but if anything goes wrong life is a lot easier.

The thing is TS used to make some of the best quality backs. I had a TS stand bag back from 2006/2007 and it was one of the best bags I have ever owned. I wonder if Phil who I passed it on to in Toronto is still using it. Sadly they changed manufacturers and the quality seems to have dropped.

I would suggest Romaro, a very good stand bag that can be carried but still works well on a cart and has some very nice features. Pricey though,

If you are intending to carry the stand bag, then I would go Sun Mountain Four5. Have a couple of them and have been using them > 60 rounds a year for a couple of years with no issues. Recently picked up the ONOFF stand bag and like it very much, but the straps are not as comfortable as the Sun Mountain. Even tried switching the straps to the Izzo after Market, but the OEM straps are better. Will still use the ONOFF but it is 3rd in the rotation...

I have ogio stand bag 2011 model! Plenty useful pockets and it's very practical! I'm a walker and it feels perfect with 14 sticks.

Onoff makes a decent stand bag... biggest issue I have with most JDM stand bags is the strap though. Those single strap bags don't seem to work very well... maybe its just me.

Another vote for the Sun Mountain Four5. Added benefit is that with the 14 dedicated slots, its very easy to tell if you have all your clubs or not (helps in not leaving clubs at the hole/range). ;)

Titleist Premium is the best I have tried and is almost identical to the Titleist Japan Stand Bags if not the same. Had had em both and cannot tell a difference.

On a similar question, been looking for a "mini" JDM stand bag with feet and that can hold a full set of clubs. Want something that is different for my golfing partners to notice!

I have the 2012 Ogio Recoil with the bungee type straps and it flat out sucks for carrying your clubs - completely unstable on your back, bouncing all over the place leaving a trail of clubs, towels, & any loose head covers on the ground behind you if you're not careful. I use it for my cart bag now with the torque strap - which is very nice - and when walking went back to my Taylormade micro-lite stand bag (weighs just over 3 lbs.)

they dont grow on trees. ( they arnt everywhere) and they are very exxpensive, but seriously the light blue one i have is still perfect after ooooooooooooooh 5trips to oz and hawaii and countles ones to hokkaido .

not many pockets, but it doesnt seem to bother me i nthe slightest.

The Tourstage stand bags look great and have alot of storage space. For sporty, the Titleist and Adidas stand bags are always up to date in style and very comfortable to carry.
