MoreBeerBetterGolf
Getting dark at 4:30 and not being able to play any golf is driving me nuts. Right now it is 30f and dropping, with 50 MPH gusts, and snowing like mad. Good time though to scout out gear both new and old and try to pick out some potential gear for next season (assuming you're one of us unlucky ones that has to miss part of the year). Out of sheer boredom and interest in hearing some responses, I thought I would pose the question: If you won the lottery tonight and could pick any setup(s) for your bag(s) you wanted, what would you do and why? Lennie
I would go 100% Yamaha, just because I love the look, quality, and performance of their stuff
idrive
Already have too many clubs now but, but I'd probably buy some blinged out Honma's. Gold heads, 5 star shafts..... just your basic $10,000+, set of Irons.... Just for fun, guess I've wondered before what they would be like to hit. Spoon
seriously? my bag is perfect and i did not win the lottery to achieve it. the lottery money will go elsewhere:)
RIduffer
Might explore a truly custom set of clubs, sit down with some engineers at Endo and go hog wild...

Getting old fast..... 56 yrs young :) only problem is I still think (wish) I'm 30.... Well...I have and do...however the gold thing just screams wealthy older man haha. Just giving you a hard time. If I were ever in a position to spend 10k on a set of irons it had better be an incredible experience! Oh and don't think about the age thing...I'm 31 and routinely get whooped by 50+ guys in league. :)

MoreBeerBetterGolf
Might explore a truly custom set of clubs, sit down with some engineers at Endo and go hog wild... Start with a special blade with a high CG, then go with a no paintfill stamp of a Rhode Island Red on the muscle and 44g of blue label in the butt of every iron Edited December 21, 2012 by MoreBeerBetterGolf
Super Tuna
It would require the lottery to do all at once, but over the next bit I'm looking at the following: Ryoma D1 + Kusala Black Egg Spoon + Attas 4U Egg Utility + Attas Irons TBD (Onoff Forged or Yamaha V Spec) Yurui Chili 51/57 Lajosi Custom
swisstrader
I think I'm almost there! Honma?? My father in law who's Korean used to play very high end Honmas and they felt like crap to me. Very fancy aka gawdy looking but I was shocked at how tough they were to play...could barely get the ball airborne. He had a Honma driver that was about $10K at a point in time where drivers cost about $250-300. At a certain stage, throwing more money at your bag does not equate with having a better (more playable) bag. Ever see a guy with a Gucci bag?...easy money! Ian-500
I have a list somewhere for this very scenario. How sad am I?
xerobound
I'd get a set from all the brands! (well the good ones at least) I'm always curious to try out everything the comes out. And even try out the 10k Honma set too! Then go to Endo and work with them to create a fully customized blade set. :)
Mob
I would love to have a set of Miura baby blades (small blades) but they don't make them in left handed. Apparently, it costs about $100,000 to make the dyes to forge these irons, and they don't believe there is enough of a left market to make economic sense. If I had unlimited money, I would pay for the dyes, and therefore make these blades available to all lefties. Same for the Epon Personals. Feeling it by the way, we just got 8 inches of snow today in Indy. I am having surgery on Friday and won't be able to swing a golf club for 3 months! This will be tough. RIduffer
Ian, Not sure what the other 5 bags will look like, but are you expecting to hole out from the FW on every hole? None of your bags seem to include a putter... Also, why a FW/Driver shaft in the Epon 902 utility?
