Posted January 28, 201312 yr Honma is coming out with some new irons. They are targeting non-senior low to mid handicap players for these. I really like the design of the MBs. release said is 2/20 Probably in time for the Golf Fair Also, Roddio is teaming up with both Miura and Zodia for some limited edition irons. These irons are calling your name Stew-san!! Could not find good pics on these though. Again official release looks to be at the Golf Fair. some pics here on this blog. http://ameblo.jp/yms...1453303733.html http://ameblo.jp/ga-...1409009319.html Notice the shape of the toe. Pointy toe from Zodia and rounded toe from Miura. Edited January 28, 201312 yr by nobmontana

January 28, 201312 yr Thought I saw this about Homma post a few months back?? Indeed their new line-up is a lot more attractive and less blink in design.

January 28, 201312 yr Here's the link... Darn... for a minute there, I thought I could 'dream' what future irons look like lol
January 30, 201312 yr I don't get it. I constantly have had PGA pros (and my future coach) tell me, even though I'm able to hit blades, I should look for something more forgiving. So why is it, that I keep seeing companies make more and more blades?!?! First George Spirits, now Honma?!?!? Isn't this Honma's first true blade? It's pretty as hell too. I don't get it man, you want folks to steer away from these irons, because they are too difficult to hit, but the industry still keeps bringing out blades. :ntsg_smilie_bulls**t:
January 30, 201312 yr I think most brands wanna have different models for different player profile. Not seen any brand just focusing on blades.... There will always be golfers (like me) that cannot hit a GI somehow....maybe it's the large offset or the thick chunky topline, but that's me and I'm sure there are plenty of golfers like me out there.......

The big GI clubs don't fill me with a lot of confidence, but the small players CB's or blades do. Edited January 30, 201312 yr by Ian-500

January 30, 201312 yr +1 I play off 16 (I don't play very often!) and I play blades. The big GI clubs don't fill me with a lot of confidence, but the small players CB's or blades do. I'm in the same boat. 13 (up from a season opening 8 last year because of injuries) but any club with offset freaks me out. I don't mind a little chunkier top or size but the offset doesn't work. I supposed with enough time I could adjust and aim 30 yards to the right of my target to get them to end up where I want, but with multiple gorgeous iron designs with some built in forgiveness and minimal offset, why? The Personals have offset but it isn't the type where the leading edge looks like its pointing to 10 o'clock. It's offset back from the shaft but still easy to align and not pull. I'm so stoked about my onoff forged and recoil combo to get here I've been doing the peepee dance all week. They're gonna most likely be my gamers for competition and league this year.

January 30, 201312 yr were asking Globeride aka Daiwa JPN about these Roddio irons. I'd personally like to see them stay up to date on their shafts before moving into irons but the more new product the merrier especially when they are using quality makers like Zodia & Miura. more info to come! Thx for posting montana!
