suggestions for a player's cb with NO offset

when my swing goes (which happens at least twice per year) i end up pull/drawing my shots until i can get things back together. during these sessions i'd like to grab an iron that is a bit easier to hit flush than a pure blade/mb and since i go left, as little offset as possible is a must. i'm not sure anything can do a better job at handling my swing during these times than my cobra s3 pro's but in typical jdm ho fashion, i'm willing to investigate...

The latest tourstage GR has much less offset than The old model

My 435 brother,

Take a look at the RomaRo H irons. As you have seen with the side by side pics I posted with the Personals as well as the Epon Techinity, the H have very little offset (less than the Technity and a lot less than the Personals).

Also, what about a straight neck Miura Giken like the 1007s? IIRC, they have very little offset as well. Could be wrong though.

New onoff has less off set than old model.

And they are very forgiving.

I have times like that.... and I know my onoff will do the job....

I'll have to agree with Tae. Ive never hit anything softer AND forgiving like the 2013 Onoff's w/ aerotechs. They have little offset especially for a medium sized players cavity back.

the romaro's have been on the top of my list for a while now. is the "neo blade" design really as forgiving as a cb?

the new tourstage mc, as well as cb, both look like they might also be a worthy contender. the onoff's look pretty good but iirc, their lofts seemed a bit strong. not sure about the miuras but they could grow on me...

I think you mean minimal offset. No offset as in 0 offset would make any iron perform poorly.

Offset is a very good thing even for top level players.

Wow those things are...something. Instead of Draw Up they should have called them Back to the Drawing Board.

The RomaRo H won't have what I would describe as "off day forgiveness." It's more like, "Slightly better than blade forgiveness."

I feel like you're looking for something a tick more automatic than "slightly better than blade forgiveness."

The OnOff would be recommendation. You could always bend the OnOff a bit weaker if you wanted. Leading edge relief is pretty good on this model so I don't see it changing bounce as much as a less beveled iron style. I have mine getting reshafted with Recoils and should have them either today or tomorrow and hope to get a mini review posted soon.

That looks like the illegitimate child of that shank-proof wedge (the Alien?) and those adjustable irons from the 70's. Any one remember those? A whole set of irons in one club where you could unscrew it and adjust the loft from wedge to 3-iron.

I do remember those adjustable travel irons. As a matter of fact saw them about a month ago of all places, the Proshop at Orange County National in Orlando. Can't imagine they would sell much of those clubs at the place.
