gocchin
Koga-san, If you like a hot more crisp feel off the face, typically that is what the ONOFF Type S/Black FW's give. I haven't had a chance to try this one yet as it was just announced but I've gamed their better player FW on several occasions over the years and have not been disappointed. JayDM
How has this FW been treating you? I really like the small head.
gocchin
Its pretty small but the biggest draw seems to be he lie angle for many. 55* flat!!! It is very popular though, labospec told me they are almost completely sold out. Like all onoff heads, a very hot feel of the face. Very good all around performance. nobmontana
I got one with an NS Pro FW steel shaft.... After the first range session, I went ahead and re-shafted with a Rombax Proto 80B. I like the lower trajectory it is producing. Like Tario says, it feels hot and crisp off the face. Overall it is a good fairway wood. Very workable.
supo
as an aside ...... i rehsafted an older roy coll bbd 17* 4w with a diamana ali islei 80s just simple fact. 256 out on sunday par 5, 5th at ishioka, GC hit the middle of green with height AND run. this thing has just ended quite a few of my other lower 15* fwds bag spots ...... permananatly ur SS that shaft is as good as antyhing ive hit is a fw. the extra height adn super stability. if uwanna play with a fw shaft thast get the bal UP then look no further best shot to a green ive ever hit. bar none ,flight was PERFECT . not as long as the diamana B but easier to control

One thing I like about RC is that they stay close to their roots with great feeling compact players woods year after year. How would you compare the shaft to the FW80?
