No offense taken. To answer your question and to those who have tried the tpo7s

The foam one has a different feel and id say its longer and has more rollout than the

Non nitro one based on my esperiemce.I have not tried the non foaming version so cant comment on that.

Im assuming from all the litreature Its exactly the same head with the exception of the gas filled head and

thinner face which was Possible because of the inert gas. That improvement alone makes me a believer.

I had exactly the same shafts in my tpo7s and tp07s nitro which was a diamana x.

Maybe someone can do a test and get some data. I can lend my head for testing.

Good, im sorry if I came off like Me ;)

So you never tried the Nitro? Yes foam has the flight, dispersion, and feel I desire theres just something about it that isn't like the Nitro.

Sorry if i was not clear.

I had the tpo7s non nitro, this was last years model. There were only two versions:

1. Tpo7s

2. Tpo7s hi cor non conforming

There were no foamed versions of the above drivers.

Now they have added additional NITRO models based on the tpo7s head. The 2 versions are:

1. Tpo7s nitro non foamed head. Normal sound just like the non nitro tpo7s

2. Tpo7s nitro with foam head. This is the more muted suppressed sounding one. This is the one i have gamed and owned.

I have no experience with the non foam tpo7s nitro model so cant comment on it.

Stew mate sorry to threadjack a.d.d kicking in. Maybe someone can transfer the the latter part of the thread in the nitro thread:)

Let's drop this, it's going no where. Some of us believe in the nitro gas in the head while others don't. Truth is there is no way to find out, Even a trackman can't tell us with certainty. Whatever the case it's a great performing head, feels good too. We can't rely on the maker to tell us and all that matters is the person hitting it has good results. Sorry this thread has gone sideways. Bringing it back to the fairway Stew was very kind to post his experience with a variety of clubs.

Stew have you hit the Legacy Black Tour Authentic yet?

lively discussions. are good... ........................ as long as it stays on topic..!

of all these heads, i stil think........... the ryoma is the best overall.

its got all the attributes i like, good looking at address. square face ( except for one of mine). great length, ease, and control. and a greta thuumpy feel. i always seem to gravitate to it when i really need pressure games ,like a comp or big money games.

so thats gotta tell me its the no1 for me.

and ive tried just about everyting.......................................

the other fact i forgot to say was the kp-x is still prob the over all longest (inconsistant) head ive hit inconsistant bec its So anti left......

. when i frst found it i cud not beleive how fricken hard at impact it was nad how low and how solid it was , but u gotta be a round swinger , over the top and ur dead...! which is where i get killed with it at times.

the 435 is consistantly the one i get the most yardage from and its got a degree of ease which is hard to ignore , it doesnt seem to be as punishing as the kp-x for mongtard swings and with the right shaft its a beauty. the boron shafts seem to suit this head really well. as did the labomba thing.

but

that i-drives typhoon thing............ well................ i had to hit it many many times to make sure it was what it was.

and it is, it is just crazy long. feels weird, but well the results spoke for themselves.

i was truely impressed.

but lets just say one othe thing

jeff didnt play it when the wind blew hard . nor when the ground was hard and fast, his trusty s-yard reigned supreme there.

he hits that driver like its a 7 iron for consistancy, he out drove me numerous times and the flight with it was as perfeect as u cud want in the wind.

that combo hes got the typhoon for carry and the syard for piercing is a knockout punch

idont htink i saw him miss hit his a s-yard in 4 weeks. not one...!

so

horse for courses.

Moral to Stew's story? You need at least 1 "moose slayer" driver and at least 1 driver that can handle "mongtard swings"

Love your work Stew, AND, we all know exactly what you mean! :tsg_smilie_smile2:

hahahha yep.

and my swing has become very mongtard esque. im working on correcting a very debilitating flaw over the winter.

i watched a great playing lesson with the pros on golf channel with rococ mediate and his restyled swing , which wud suit my build ver ywell

im going to do some hard studying over the next few weeks trying to moderate it a bit and get the club face sqaureer. thast been killing me in the driver dep, irons seem ok
