Kekoa
After doing some research, the miurisms have really peaked my interest. Despite the obvious attributes that come with the Miura brand, what makes these so great? I hear a lot of comparison of the SB's to the baby blades and not sure I should smile or run. I had a set of BB for 2 months and finally had to sell them. Despite their amazing shape and feel, the heads were just too small for my liking and ability. I've done numerous searches and was curious if anyone could direct me to in had adress pics of the SB-01, 02, and SC-03. Lastly, is it possible to order a combo set of say sc-03 3-5 and sb-02 6-PW? thanks for any help.
+TourSpecGolfer
Are they good? Just a different blade, a little more fancy than the others they make but not necessarily better. Inquire with Tario to find out about a Combo set. Currently in my opinion you can find superior blades. 2013 was the year of the muscle back, looks like 2014 is more of that so you have many options. Miuramaniac
The SB-02 is shaped identically to the baby blade but slightly bigger. The SB-01 is exact same size and shape. And I inquired about a combo set of cb-02(?) and SB-02 a couple years ago and was told they wouldn't do it. Maybe they will now. Good luck if they do and I wanna see pics! mygreenaliem
I had the baby blades and they were nice clubs but dig dig in a lot and they felt hard off the face. I then moved to Crazy Ltd edition MB which still are amazing and incredible forgiving. This week I built a set of Miura G CB 1007 Y grinds and shafted them with same Crazy Target tour 120 X in the Crazy's. I chose the Y grind as they are designed for steeper down swings, the sweet spot is slightly towards the heel and the grind means they don't dig in. Early days but I am very impressed with this combo - for some reason the head and shaft combo feels more stable than the crazy heads and flight is lower. The heads are the same size as the crazy too, just that the top and sole are slightly thicker. gocchin
Also what makes Miuraism stand out from other "Miura" models is they are made on order, choice of finish, grinds, heads are hand picked by Miuraism for weight and consistency plus they can make the heads to the weight you want not just standard weight retail heads. The models are also not sold as heads only, because it is full service including the build only done by top Miuraism craftsment installing your choice of shafts and grips. Craig can chime in on how good Miuraism is, he is a huge believer.
tokidoki1986
Well I think it's depend on personal feeling and preference after all, as for myself it's not the best iron but definitely it's one of the brand in top lists.

Not to butt in (but I guess I am :), but T told me last year that stamping can't be changed and set make-up can't be either. Such as making a combo set. I was interested in a CB/SB2 combo with less stamping but was told they wouldn't do either. Maybe they'll change their minds?

Craig
Hi guys Just back from Japan and this has to be my first post. The Miurism line is in my opinion the top of the tree when it comes to irons. I am a big Miura fan and have hit a lot of their products. The Miurisms, I prefer the SB 01 are in another league. Talking about customisation of Miurisms, you can do very little. Pretty much he wont get rid of all the WDD forged crap etc but will add a name or initials. That is pretty much it. There is actually a box here with custom SB01 and SC01 irons which I have not opened yet. So this is a timely discussion. I ordered them in November with a custom set of Golds wedges to go with them. Will open later and post some pics
Craig
To answer the question, are Miurisms really that good, yes
supo
Ive had a cpl of sets over the years and my bud the baron, who was the biggest of hos imaginable Hes my sempai of hoing he made us all."...... Collectively look disticctively amatuer " back in the day Anyway he had 30plus sets of irons alone ,he used a Used set and went and ordered a new set5yrs ago and has not got another set of sticks any more Which is like me not having putters or drivers....inconcievable but true I gotta say if u can get the grind right and lie right then the impact of these is really as good as anything Ihad issues with the sole shape was so frustrating but. I cudnt get themwired which is why i held off getting another set That plus hes such. A miserable know it all he wont build u clubs with ur own shafts Wont do heads ,cant even send him brand new in the box shafts for him to install Did my head in trying to work with him But. Barons stickswith sp orange are easily as good as anything ive hit Maybe the personals might be up there with them but they are the tops I dont play them anymore but ill def say they are sensational impact clubs id like to get another set but he does my head in with......"no" But his clubs are seriously good
gocchin
The options as of this year have changed a bit. We ragged on them for not being truly custom if they cannot keep up with Yoro type options. So they have expanded their options..... A LITTLE BIT. Custom grinds of any sort are now available. Custom finish including chome mirror, chrome satin, flat black and gun blue are now available. Initials are no problem. We still cannot remove stampings (trust me I bitched about this and still do to them). Combo sets is the gray area, and they have not officially said no so I submitted an order in this weekend to them for a combo SC01 and SB01 set in gun blue. We shall see what they say but so far they have not said no!

proswing89
they are custom orders. If they are custom orders. Can I supply my own Shaft. ( KBS V tour or TT Monaco) both in Stiff.
Craig
As mentioned my SB01 and SC 01 customs. Got the grind etc that i wanted and the they look stunning. However could not get the wording changed but he did agree to put my initials on there. Looking at the result, not a wise move Perhaps if 14,000 people tell him how average this looks then maybe Miura will move if not into the 21st century, perhaps into the 1980's at least
daamartin
Maybe I would keep more iron sets if I stamped D.M. on them.........now there's an idea!
+TourSpecGolfer
Just add custom stamping and we got ourselves a winner! Aftermarket we could fill the engraving and grind smooth then refinish but that would potentially cost more than the club itself.
Kekoa
Craig, those look absolutely stunning. I noticed you ordered in November so did you just get them or have they been sitting in the box for a while? I probably won't go with any stamping unless he agrees to put it elsewhere. Additional stamping looks too busy on that iron. I'll get flamed, but i currently play a set of combo Scratch DW EZ-1's / flatbacks. These are the best feeling USDM blades i have ever played so if the Miuraisms can come close I'll be on board. I too would love to see pics of the flat black and blue.
