Posted March 19, 201410 yr comment_222684 ok so i received my mar pat digital stealth camo Jbeam my gosh this is turned out better than expected. i originally received this head in bad condition. lots of dings and scratches on paint and wanted to have it painted. mikeys hulla girls and hawaiian themes came to mind so i tapped him to ask his guy if he can do a certain type of marpat camo for me and it turned out exceeding my expectations. marpat digital camo is soo hard to get right for obvious reasons. the colors have to blend in digitally and not look blocky. also there has to be trasnitions and subtle hue changes to get it right. well its perfect and can't believe this was done by hand. pictures do NOT do justice to how it looks. definitely getting more done. only problem now is that it will be difficult to find after throwing it into the bushes after an errant drive:) pics with a white 435 enjoy

I know first hand that 90% of the detail, metal flake, and true artistry are lost when posting pics of his work online, so this must be quite fantastic in person! I also know you can't stop at just one...so what kind of ideas do you have for the next one? Edited March 19, 201410 yr by chiromikey

March 23, 201410 yr comment_222897 i have one of each and once i repainted the jbeam it's performance matched the crazy... ;) Curious to find out if the performance improved post paint job? As I remember JBeam uses performance reducing paint for heads they also OEM to other companies. See Craig's Top 10 list in the OOB section for validation on the above assertion.
