Posted July 8, 201410 yr Pretty dorky thing to do, but I'm finally pretty happy with my bag. Covers stay on the irons, putter and woods during the round, they're only on the wedges during transporting. Alternates for different courses are a Henri-Griffitts Praxis driver, 5w and a 60º K Grind.

July 9, 201410 yr Author Thanks, it's not very exotic, but pretty solid. The JDM woods can't be far off, but I'm still lost. The RomaRo Type-R seems like a contender to throw the G25s out. S-Yard XV? I like the 60º K Grind a lot. I find it to be really versatile and opens up very well. If I didn't rely on my 64ºK as much, it'd be a regular. I've played a couple of rounds with it by taking out an iron, but it always seems like I pull the wrong one.
July 9, 201410 yr RomaRo Type R 3 fw and hybrids are solid, havnt tried the Type R driver. Take a peek at the Epon 153 driver, I play them and LOVE them.
July 9, 201410 yr The Modart woods are something else. They have the profile, looks, shallow face but great off the tee and spectacular feel. I would definitely give them a look :)
July 9, 201410 yr Author 64* k grind, wow! Hit yourself in the face ever? Lol solid bag!! No, but I fly over bunkers to tight pins easily. No need to open the face, it's my go-to club around greens. Like any club, it takes some practice time to learn how to play it. It's funny, but I've never seen anyone else playing any Epons. When someone asks about them, I let them hit them and they're always surprised at the feel. I've seen a few 56º K grinds and only two people of Miura irons. I've never seen anyone playing ONOFF, Ryoma or any other JDM gear which is surprising since I'm in the Monterey Bay golf mecca.

August 23, 201410 yr Are u married? I love my wife and kids w all my heart but if that avatar pick is you and you live in Monterey....well...the only thing holding me back from leaving it all and moving back to NorCal to charm u is the ping n your bag...
