+TourSpecGolfer
MUSO shaft sales have been picking up with many happy customers not believing how a shaft this well made of such high end materials can be so inexpensive and perform so well. Did I mention it's made in Japan 100%? The truth is that Geotech has always kept to a particular formula for pricing that often their competitors are not so happy about. In this case it's MUSO Shafts, take the XDB 65 S for example as it's made of full length Japanese 50T with a mid section reinforced with 90T. Looking for a shaft with similar materials and your in the 800+ range but the XDB is only $165 in the proshop! there are a total of 6 shafts available in the MUSO line up Blue Standard Muso Shaft - ( soon to be discontinued ) White XDB White XDB FW Silver XL Silver XL LD I'm still hitting them and getting familiar with them but initial thoughts are very promising. If this were an $800 shaft I would say it's good, but as a sub 200 shaft its fantastic. notes: - feels firm and true to flex - XDB has a tight dispersion - feel is a little boardy if the flex is too stiff but when I went a flex down from my normal it reminds me of the strong kick the Axiv's have. - mid/low trajectory with good roll - somewhat reminds me of the DI-6 Anyway still working with them and trying to find the clubs and time to test them all. Pics below Enjoy!

Ian-500
At last, I might be able to buy a 'new' shaft. Lol. These look great. Chris can you compare these to some Diamana shafts please, in particular the Kai'li and the 1st gen 'D' series, or Whiteboard as we know it? I play 60g in driver, then 70g in 3/4 wood and 80g in 5/7 wood, all in 'X'. 106mph driver with an aggressive transition to play between 44 1/2" - 45". Of the latest shafts to launch in EU/US, I've been fitted for the Kuro Kage Tour Proto 60x. Thanks.

Calvin
Chris has just fit me a Muso 55 (blue) SR + RF800 Alpha Spec 10.5*. I don't want to jump into a conclusion at this point after only few test drives. One thing for sure, for such a price, you don't get anything better than this. For me, the Muso55 SR at 46" feel better ( stiffer too) than the TRPX Touale S at 45" of my friend. The firecracker sound of the head might bother some people but the metal baseball bat sound of TRPX is not so pleasant either. I think Geotech did a great job on both but the shaft is a tad better than the head. " Automatic " is how this muso feels. BTW, Chris, do you know why Geotech discontinue the Muso Blue? Is it replaced by the XDB? Edited July 27, 2014 by Calvin

mr.haha
Jeez, what length was that built at, 46"? correct. chris suggested to keep it at 46" even if i cut it down to 45" that would only get it to d6. still wayyyy to heavy for a driver. my T388s are at d2. i think the kamui is going to hit the bst soon. +TourSpecGolfer
correct. chris suggested to keep it at 46" even if i cut it down to 45" that would only get it to d6. still wayyyy to heavy for a driver. my T388s are at d2. i think the kamui is going to hit the bst soon. I think it's fair to note that this head is heavy thus the swing weight, has nothing to do with the shaft.
+TourSpecGolfer
These shafts are new so not much feedback on them. All I can say is they do the job especially for the price. I don't have the time to compare them to all these shafts at the moment but over time more info will be provided especially from our members. They are selling very well right now. driverhead
I have been using the XL Muso in a GEOTECH QUELOT driver. Ive been very impressed. It is similar to the GD MT 5/6 in feel. This shaft in a QUELOT is one of the longest combos I have now. The shaft has a great kick but is very stable and consistent. Its great for smooth tempo.transition players. I should have a JBEAM 535 12 degree head coming soon, and will put the XDB shaft in it.
