Mjr. D
Interesting. What do you suspect is on the horizon? from mygolfspy
+TourSpecGolfer
It's boron, not new, old material used in making shafts. These pics were on mizuno's twitter page last week. Mizuno is making a a new forged material that's more of a blend.
Mjr. D
Well so much for the mystery. Haha.
nobmontana
JDM Mizuno JPX EIII Forged already uses this blend of S25CM + Boron. I am guessing they are just releasing this in the States.

Your spot on, actually when they melt down the metal to make the rod prior to forging they put in boron or boron powder and it becomes a part of the metal. Calvin
How did each one of them perform differently? JPX EIII forged, EIII hot metal and US JPX 850. How should I pick?
pug
I know Boron is hard and light (and somewhat difficult to produce). So what does combing with S25CM accomplish? Harder and light club heads? More feel? More explosive off the face? More expensive? ;)
+TourSpecGolfer
It allows them to make bigger heads at the same weight as smaller heads.

+TourSpecGolfer
Guys are you saying that the 850 is the world wide version of the Elll, with the Elll being JDM? Japan is not going with the 850, not sure why. Nice Irons Ash! do report back on how they feel. FYI guys MP-15 was just released for some Yoro Craftin! No stamping options but you can change finish, grind, and paint fill etc..
Calvin
Guys, so did Boron steel really do a better job or just another option. Between MP-H5 and JPX850( or EIII), how you guys would make the pick?
