Hutch
Find the spine, flow for exact, rotate spine 10* anti clockwise (on the inside) and fit at that.
supo
driver. i think the diamana fubuki has tendencies not to fade. just wondering if thers anything esle if at all ??
Hutch
i also play a fade naturally. It sure does Stu, have the alpha and fitted it for a draw with good results. My favourite for anti slice is the W series 3G also fitted for a draw, game this in yammy 460D and is my go to drop and stop fairway finder with bit draw. Tj Noir is a draw shaft but it is exy to get the spot on flex through buy and try as i have discovered....unless you can go get fitted. supo
tied the LS noir, didnt get along with its balance, but gotta say what an amazing feeling shaft! was thinking of maybe....... trying the sigma again. really liked that shaft got a diamana ali islei going in a kasco DNA today. think i might buld that yamaha v4.6 with a fubuki. Hutch
I must explain on the W series. Is an anti left driver shaft -1 Set up for a draw keeps it straight +1 draw based head +1 1+1-1 = awesome baby draw ;) I love the Yammy 4.6 or 460 series, they are better than most current heads. feel is superb. Haven't had any time with the sigma, might have a look at one of those, am super keen on Craigs setup in the 7D but half flex softer
dreamingkid
I've also been searching for my next shaft. I've been playing Diamana x for longest time and tried Crazy, GD, Mitsubishi and etc. My fitter suggest trying UST Rogue and Elements Chrome. I was very reluctant since they are USDM but I'm getting along very well with Elements Chrome at the moment. You should try tour spec stiff flex in 70g. very anti right and very very tight dispersion. Feel is not as smooth as Diamana X or LY but pretty solid. supo
.
Hutch
That must be one hell of a set up Craig has. 388 is just superb, the only problem I have is I always gamed it with too long a shaft. Am thinking of trying the stark...had any experience with that yet Stu?
chiromikey
or............... ijust get the SD in my spec and be done with everything. why are you still here??? DO IT!
Craig
Over the weekend supo did hit my SD 388 combo many times. I would guarantee if each and every TSGer saw him and I hit it, you would think it was made for him not me. Ball flight is superb ( much higher than mine) and it just looks so smooth in his swing, effortless is the word. It will be interesting what they come up with for him. Hutch
That will be v interesting indeed. By all rights his should be even better for him. So we know this is perfect for you Craig and works for supo, what sort of yardage gain on average for you both?
supo
its not about yardage gain on GOOD shots what so ever. you can hit a tissue box with a tomato vine ploe out of the middle and itll go 230! its about where the bad shots went craig hit it well, poorly and superbly over 3 days i think he missed . hmmmmmmmmmm 3-4 fairways over 3 days ???? anbd not one of them sliced off 40 yards rigth not hooked 50 yards left. they were small blocks or straight pull misses. i think i HIT 4 fairways over the 3 days! Hutch
Yep I hear you Stu..sort of worked out all of the above hence the love for the 7D from both you and Craig Just interested if any yards had been gained on top of the off break :)
RLL33
I'm going with the 7D shaft as well in my spare t388. Filled out the questionnaire and will hear back from them soon. Will report my comparison to the Messenger 1st here. When I first read this thread, Stew, I was going to say I thought you had described the perfect anti-right shaft when you hit Craig's 7D. Both of you guys' descriptions prodded me to do what I'd been thinking about doing since discussing with Chris... Looking forward to it.
