bstnyc
Greetings from a forum newbie, below is my current WITB: Driver : GP One Minute / Basileus Alpha 60S Hybrid : Ping i20 20&23/Project X 6.0 Irons : EPON AF-503 5-P/KBS C-Taper R+ Wedge : Miura MB5000WC 52/57 / K's-Wedge HW120 Putter : Scotty Cameron California Monterey Recently replaced my Titleist 910D2 + Fujikura Motore Speeder VC6.2 with the GP One Minute + Basileus Alpha, gained 25-30 yards on my drive, I was amazed at what a properly fitted club will do to improve one's game. mpbachman
Very nice bag, congratulations! I love the face of that GP driver. Nice Epon headcovers as well ;)

777
Did you get a chance to hit the One Minute dimple face driver? Nice bag BTW!
needmoregolf
nice bag, digging the iron headcovers. do they actually stay on unlike most other Epon headcovers?
bstnyc
I didn't get a chance to hit the dimple faced One Minute since the shop does not carry them, would love to try them out. I tried out several popular JDM drivers (e.g. Ryoma, Romaro Ray, etc) on the launch monitor before picking up the One Minute. The improved dispersion and distance is what sold me. I was able to test the driver at the range for the first time last night, all I can say is that the launch monitor is pretty accurate! As for the EPON headovers, they sometimes (not often) fall off when not push in all the way.
+TourSpecGolfer
Welcome to TSG! Your bag fit's right in among the best of them.
Duffer19
The Klingon driver looks cool.
Hutch
Nice set up mate 503s are one of the all round best sets of irons on the market Welcome :)
bstnyc
The Klingon driver, haha, that's a good one! I heard from the golf shop that the proprietor of GP golf used to be a pilot thus the airplane/fighter jet motif throughout the company's products. I think the mark is suppose to be a F-117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter, but I like the Klingon reference better. Definitely love the 503s, hitting a lot more greens since I got them. Loved the increase in both distance and forgiveness over my previous Ping i20s.
Duffer19
The Klingon reference is not an original from me unfortunately.
bstnyc
Hi guys, here is my 2015 bag ~Driver : GP One Minute / Basileus 2015 AAA 60SHybrid : Ping i20 20/23 / Fujikura MCH 70SIrons : Epon AF-Tour CB 4-P / KBS C-Taper R+Wedge : Miura MB5000WC 52/57 / K's-Wedge HW120Putter : Scotty Cameron California MontereyRecent changes include 1) re-shafted my driver with the Basileus 2015 AAA, which proves to be a better fit to my swing than the Alpha it replaced; further improved my driver distance and consistency; 2) replaced 503s with the Tour CBs. My golf buddy has been egging me on to replace my hybrids and putter, but so far I am able to resist given that their performance are to my satisfactory. The old adage of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" some what holds true to me...but it's still nice to have new toys once in a while....haha.Just received Epon's "The Dragon of Echigo" bag, love the understated look that the all black color scheme created! The red accents are the icing on the cake!

bstnyc
This Epon bag is actually one of the lightest JDM synthetic leather caddie bag I came across, weights only 3.5 kg, which is a full 2kg lighter than the regular Epon caddie bag. That is actually one of the reason why I bought it. Edited May 31, 2015 by bstnyc

needmoregolf
stellar bag and makeup! what iron head covers are those? look different than the standard neoprene but still nice and simple and effective.
bstnyc
Yes, these are textured/checkered neoprene headcovers, works really well! Had to switch out the Epon headcover because they do fall off a bit too easily.
idrive
Now that's how you do it. I can see why those wedges stayed as they just flat out perform. and that bag..... could be my favorite bag of all time as of this moment! Well done and enjoy. Dakara
Don't see a fairway wood in your setup. Having a love/hate relationsship with FW myself - with the hate part getting the upper hand currently - would appreciate to hear a comment
gtrader88
Really like the Epon bag and the equipment in it.
bstnyc
idrive: the Miura wedges are superb both in aesthetic and performance. Although the Epon wedges provides a bit more feedback, these Miuras are just buttery soft and the smaller profile/minimalist back just look that much better! Dakara: after not touching a golf club for 8 years (marriage and kids) and just trying to get back into the game, I do not find that I have a need for a FW so far (the last FW I played was the original Callaway Steelhead...haha). My reasons are: 1) given the current breed of drivers, I do not find the FW to be more accurate off the tee; 2) I do not expect to get on the green in two for par 5s, thus my hybrid or long irons work fine on layups. On some short par 5s, my 20 degree hybrid is enough to give me a chance to get on in two.
