March 18, 20159 yr I have this in 10.5*. It's the one I keep coming back to..... Why oh why are you selling this?
March 18, 20159 yr Author Its a tad too much for my aging swing. If it doesn't sell I'll pull the shaft and cork the hosel a 1/4 inch or so. Edited March 18, 20159 yr by yourpressed
March 18, 20159 yr Beautiful looking combo. Anyone know what the 425 is like compared to the 535? Ian The 425 Tour is a great head very long and in my opinion slightly more forgiving then the 435 The 535 is more forgiving and has a more pleasing sound. The 425 tour is longer especially in this combo
March 19, 20159 yr Can anyone describe the sound? Would getting it foamed make the sound more pleasing?
March 19, 20159 yr Author I love the sound/feel of the 425...solid thud. Ash has one of my old ones and might chime in with his take.
March 19, 20159 yr The 425 is a muted sound compared with the 435. As yourpressed mentioned it is a thud compared to a high pitch metallic sound from the 435. Foaming the head creates a dead sound, it isn't for everyone. This is definitely an excellent head and great example of JBeam at its best.
March 19, 20159 yr Agree - no issue with sound of 425 and I think it is a much prettier head at address than 435. I have both and find the middle of the 425 just as easily. 425 sounds and feels better and can control shape and trajectory better by adjusting tee height etc....
March 19, 20159 yr well with my prevous experiences with them the 435 is more forgiving the 425 tour is for creating shots the 435 just isnt quite right for, the 435 is point shoot , the 425 tour is slightyl more ameanable to working ,but .......not much they both seemd pretty close in distance. sound i cudnt remeber ther e being any differnce. both id take in a heat beat

March 20, 20159 yr what do u want in particular for this , as a swap ryoma with what kinda shaft , is the shaft tipped or butted?
March 20, 20159 yr Author Don't have anything in mind other than a Type V 9.5 or 10.5 w an S Flex or some other driver The Shingo played 46.75 in the 46D. I butt trimmed it to play 45.25. If you are in AUS the 43 inch length restrictions would kill a sale or trade prefer to trade stateside if possible Edited March 20, 20159 yr by yourpressed
