nobmontana
So this new shaft from Nippon uses full length 7 axis material and 80T sheet AND upper half of the shaft uses 90T sheet AND at the tip section it has Toray 1100G to help give it some kick! WOW!! Looks excellent on paper at least! :) What's more shocking is that the price point of these shafts are really consumer friendly! Other companies are charging more than double this. How do they do it? I definitely need to give this a whirl !! Would love to get any feedback if anyone has tried this already.
Fore Left!
My guess is material costs are declining and major manufacturers can produce these quite a bit cheaper than boutiques that are hand rolling them and whatnot. My cynical side also tells me that there is probably a lot of margin built into the super exclusive high end boutique stuff as well.
Duffer19
Just got mine 2 days ago and would be shafting it tomorrow when I go to my club. It's one of the cheapest premium shaft out there. Already playing and liking the red formula M. Like the M, the MB should play firmer to flex.

sundowner
Find the Regio Formulas (original, M) one of the best shafts in the market - even compare to Crazy and others 50-90t shafts. Tried the Regio Formula 65 s also in Egg 2010 (loved the FW80 installed before in it). Result: Different, but great!! Looking for a head for the new Regio MB sitting around here.. -)

astroboy
Any updates? Keen to find out whats the diff btw formula m red and gold mb. For a smooth swing type about 95 to 100 ss, what do you recommend
nobmontana
65 stiff should do it. I am 105 to 110 and ended up tipping the 65 s about 1" for getting a firmer feel at the tip and slightly lower trajectory. 55 stiff might work too if you like higher launch. It is a fine shaft for the price point but you shouldn't expect the same level of refinement as AAA 2015.
astroboy
Ya realised they don't do SR flex.
sundowner
Any updates? Keen to find out whats the diff btw formula m red and gold mb. For a smooth swing type about 95 to 100 ss, what do you recommend Red Regio Formula M is really (!!) mid stiff. The shaft works very well for an open .. closed type of swing with the driver. Then the Regio M is one of the best! Great great distance and dispersion! With a closed .. closed type of swing it doesn´t work (.. for me). The Regio Formula MB is more mid "normal" - not soft and not stiff.
