+TourSpecGolfer
Anyone ever hit this? I used to love the Vaquish XR. Maruman is on another level, similar to Honma in how they produce really high quality golf clubs. XR series has been discontinued :( I've got one 9.5 | Stiff new left. it seems Maruman who are near the top of the food chain in the luxury segment has a difficult time cracking the better players market. The Vanquish XR was a driver I didn't consistently hit well but there was a nice stretch of weeks I was in love with it and yes with a stock shaft. It's a 460cc head with a deep dark look to it made of grade 5 Titanium and a proritary face called 438FG-X even the hosel was fullerene Titanium. Stock shaft is 50T carbon + fullerene carbon in silver IP and black gradient. Everything about this club was right, it just didn't get the traction it deserved, lets hope they use a similar model in what we hope to be a future XR series. Calvin
This might be the sleekest model of Majesty line by Maruman! Can't believe they come up with such a clean, simple, sharp and sleek design in the Majesty line-up. The only thing complicated about the new club may be the " Tatoo" on the club face, but which looks pretty cool to me. Maruman puts up some weights to the new driver and cut down the price tag a bit. Both are very good news, aren't they? Hope we can see more hands-on report about the new club at TSG.

nobmontana
I like this new one better. If Darth Vader played golf, he'd have this in his bag! :)
Calvin
Thank you Chris for clearing that out for me. Can't wait to see your review on this one. I saw a launching video clip by Maruman on youtube. The club looks amazing.
dickyfowler
Looks great - but note that all the materials specified are the same as the outgoing model, so will be interested to hear what advancements have been made to this new driver - apart from the face stamping. dickyfowler
like this driver - feels good off the face as many of the Maruman's do and the distance was better than average for me.
nobmontana
Congrats on your new driver! I really like the shape of the head, nice and deep. How's the forgiveness of this driver. Also can you tell us a bit about the standard shaft? ( kick, feel )
dickyfowler
Mine has the bamboo-look SANKI shaft and you might never see a more beautiful driver -- might just put it on the wall because it is too impressive-looking to play. I have so far found the club head itself to be reasonably forgiving with a good feel to it - not harsh. Also have the Romaro Alpha which is probably longer, but doesn't feel quite as good.
