March 12, 20168 yr Author comment_254695 At the first, I thought is it a Cobra King, but then I realize it is not. Like their design and color though. I think Chris will have a great success if he opens a subsidiary in China. 11K RMB is a lot of money for a driver.

March 12, 20168 yr comment_254731 The people I know at GD Japan dont even know about this. It should be coming from Japan first not being sold in China so approach this one carefully. This is also a generic shaft adapter used just to swap shafts. My guess is its for display use, ive seen Tour AD and NSPro irons in the past.

I thought it was odd that someone picked up this head and shafted with a Basi AAA.... It would be more proper to shaft it up with the Tour AD DI shaft ... which is a great shaft BTW.

I can't believe they build a whole new team or OEM for some heads, and then turn all their customers to be their competitors. Especially in current market. But, who knows! I like the color matching though.
March 13, 20168 yr comment_254735 I tested it this week, it was shafted with a Tour AD shaft. Cannot remember the model of the shaft though. Visual: From the top, it looks like a better player driver; compact looking and set up to be neutral. From the front, as you can see, from the photos it has a deep face for enlarge hitting area. I probably hit about 10 shots with a TRACKMAN, so here are observation: The initial feel is a very loud impact sound: high pitch loud sound The deep face compact set up does not seem to suit me, I admittedly did not get many good shots. Good shot yield fairly normal numbers for me. My swing speed is around 98, so the carry is about 200m. Personal opinion: It looks like a nice compact driver head, I do not particularly like the colour combination of deep orange and black. One key feature is the loud impact sound. Good shot yield normal numbers for me not particularly long.
March 13, 20168 yr Author comment_254737 Do you get more spec info? Heard it is super High COR. So your good shot should be longer than your normal shot if it is a high COR head. I am not the expert. Just translate what I read.
March 13, 20168 yr comment_254738 Hi Haovictor, I forgot the spin rate and launch angle from Trackman. The numbers on carry and roll was not particularly longer than my current driver.
