Dr.Shankenstein
Hello all, I have been playing the same irons for the past 4ish years and I'm getting antsy about trying something different. I have been looking at the forged Kuros and is wanting to hear from the community if anyone has hit both or have some sort of knowledge about either. I am a mid-capper (bogey or better) and have a tendency to hit my shots towards the toe. What say you
+TourSpecGolfer
I suggest the ONOFF Kuro 2015 if you can find a mint set used. 2017 is not nearly as forgiving or soft.

Thanks C, I know that there is some love for the 2015, not much has been reviewed (beside Nobwas) on the 2017.
Ian-500
I doubt that the 2011 or 2013 could be beat...
nobmontana
2017s. I believe we’re based on the Labospec 358CBs Limited editions that Shingo Katatama had them make. He is sort of an experimenter type player on the Japan Tour. Some have worked and some only lasted a short while. If you can get used to the looks, I suppose 2017 Kuros are okay. But 2011 thru 2015 are much more orthodox and probably a better choice unless you want something really different.
Dr.Shankenstein
Thank you all for your feedback, I was able to source a used set of 2015s and got to spend some range time with them. I see what all the fuss is about. These are beautifully finished, feels great, and forgiving of my mis**ts.
