ProSpec
First off it was waiting for me when I arrived home from work so I didn't hit it yet. Based on looks alone.... WOW! what a great looking stick. The size and shape of the head are beautiful. Deep pear shaped face. Full face grooves. Crown is black with no allignment aid. Oh, and the shaft... It has the Graphite Design BlueG. It's GDs answer to the high-end Fujis. The top of the shaft has a chrome look. So at address it's chrome kinda like the Mitsu. Shaqx or Vista Tour Fuji. all the way from the grip to the hosel and the back side fades into a deep blue. I can't wait to hit it. On looks alone it's about the best lookin driver I've seen. I just went and looked at it again... do I play this thing or put it up on the wall in a display case.
MCsub
Mine too! And I did hit it. Mine has the Fuji Speeder 6, in a menacing all black. Both the grip and shaft have both Tourstage and Bridgestone markings. The corded grip has a repeating pattern of "TS" stamped into it many times. Freakin' awesome. Now... the performance. I love it. I warmed up w/ my JVS on DGX100. I moved to the 390, swinging easy at first and then going after it. Still has a muted feel in comparison to say the 510TP or a Launcher, but noticeably hotter than the Maru US Drive 8.5 face. The 390 also has a slightly "pingier" sound than the Maru, but still nothing like all the other big brands. I will not lie - I hit the Maru well, but I hit the 390 great (at least today). I can also say without hesitation that this is more forgiving, especially when you contact below the center of the face. I did this several times and still had wonderful results; on the Maru you need to contact much closer to the topline. The range I was at hits uphill and has no bonafide markings, but I really bombed a few. While I know many on the board average 280 - 300 yards, I am a consistent 240-260, and was certainly attaining that today. I find the Fuji 6 much less demanding than the Maru's GD Tour AD. Even at only 9 degrees, I was producing the progectory I personally prefer - no ballooning, and slightly lower than average. This driver is a winner, and I look forward to putting it into play soon. ProSpec
Glad you like it. I've been hearing really good things about this driver. I can't wait to hit it. I'm really curious how the BlueG will play/feel. If it's half as good as it looks watch out.

Guest
Glad you like it. I've been hearing really good things about this driver. I can't wait to hit it. I'm really curious how the BlueG will play/feel. If it's half as good as it looks watch out. The Blue G doesn't feel as lively as the Fuji 661 TSs I usually play with but the results speak for themselves. Indeed the head is much more forgiving on contact made below sweet spot rather than above. This driver is awesome. One note of caution which I discovered over 2 rounds recently: in spite of the deep face, avoid the tendency to tee the ball up higher. I was playing in Bali over the weekend and I was driving like sh*t - couldn't hit a fairway. At the 14th hole on the second day, found myself on the tee box with only one tee in the pocket with a broken tip. Too lazy to go fetch another so I made sure to release through the ball rather than attempting to upswing. Magic! The 3 remaining drives were long and straight as per the first few rounds with this driver. So the moral of the story is; avoid the tendency (at least in my case) to tee it up higher (especially since the Blue G combo yields a lower ball flight than I'm used to with other 9*s) and just go for it. If you play courses with fairways that roll decent, you'll be shocked by how good this driver is. If your fairways don't roll, then you won't be gaining any yardage but the driver is still awesome. I've always had the problem of getting little or no roll on my drives but this driver combo has certainly resolved that problem! Enjoy it
cisco77
I ordered one early this week with a fuji 952 shaft. (I like heavy shafts.) I am delighted to see such great reviews. I'm really looking forward to getting mine. Can any of you guys compare it with a 510 df or titleist e in terms of feel, ball flight, and length? thanks

+TourSpecGolfer
This club is very long on mis**ts to me and I tottaly agree that it works better at a lower tee level. I have never noticed the strange ass piece nor has it bothered me one bit. And gotta love that feel it is muted hollow perfection ala tourstage ;icecream
