Does anyone have in pros or cons about the Fujikura Tour Release 27.3? I see that the price is very reasonable, but how does it perform? I looking to put one in Gemini 355.

What's the best way to install this shaft? My swing speed with a driver is around 110, and I have a smooth tempo. How much do I need to trim from the tip if any? I know I'll need a stiff flex, but not quite sure how much preping I need to do.

hey, this shaft isnt even close to what is in your current bag---your all up in the heavy stuff and you want to go south ?? only if your in the wrong setup now -- go see a lunch monitor or a good clubfitter--( lunch at least fills you up so you wont be hungry at the turn) thanks and good luck bushkin

it's a very solid shaft and works well for smooth transition swings.. with a 110 swing speed use a x flex-- don't worry it will not be too stiff. the shaft has a softer tip section and the stiff would probably make oyu have a little control issue.. put a stiff tipped half inch into a 395cc 10.5 gemini and fine with a controlled swing BUT if i get a little quick -- she goes left in a hurry** close to your swing speed.. ken

Have both S & X flex in pair of TM Tour 580's at 45 1/4in. Can't really tell that much of a difference in actual flex when using on course(neither tipped). Very smooth w mid-kick & tighter dispersion than Aldila NV-75 . One area that you should be aware of- shaft balance is tip heavy and will add 2-3 swing weights to your club very easily (D-6, D-7 on mine) , but I like heavy sw's on drivers. Used to play a GD YS-6 (sx) and would loose left very easily- These Tour Releases feel like YS-6 but go straighter :)
