+TourSpecGolfer
Dear Club Cameron Members: Well, it is time to introduce the newest creations from the Scotty Cameron Putter Studio, the Red X and Red X2. Check out "Concept to Production" to learn about these two new models that are all the rage on the PGA Tour. We had 9 Red X prototypes in play at the Wachovia Championship out of 81 total Cameron putters in play, as over 50% of the field played a Scotty Cameron by Titleist putter. We're launching the Red X and Red X2 putters in June and wanted to be sure that you know all about them before they hit the streets. If any of you have the opportunity to give either one a try, please provide us with your feedback. Scotty thinks it is one of the best sounding models he has ever made! We want to know what you think! We had our second Futura win at the Wachovia Championship this past weekend. Congratulations to the Champion who is a true gentleman and a longtime Cameron user. He played great and beat some of the top players in the world. Our hats are off to him! Speaking of the Futura, for all of you lefties out there we are happy to introduce to the Studio Store, a new left-handed Futura headcover. That's right, no more right-handed hand-me-downs, the new Futura headcover is only for lefties. The Studio Store is also featuring a new Red and Black Scotty Dog towel that is as plush as they come, as well as the last of the run of the Clip Pivot tools. If you haven't tried this new tool, there's no time like the present. Just clip and go! It is moving week at the Studio! We will be transitioning to our new facility in the coming weeks and we are excited. You'll get a sneak peek of the new Studio once we get settled. We showed you a glimpse of the progress along the way and soon you will see it finished. The new Studio is downright cool! Stay tuned! Check out Club Cameron for great new content including the introduction of the new Red X, a new JAT section with John Rondolino and as always, check out the Studio Store for the new Red and Black Scotty Dog towel, clip Pivot tools and of course the lefty Futura headcover. Guest
I have to admit the Red Xs look sweet. Although the design is altogether far from original, the GSS face and length/weight options make it unique. I can't decide between the heel-shafted or the centre-shafted but I'm definitely getting one.

+TourSpecGolfer
i have tried the Red X and My Girl putters and both of them seem to make me pull the ball left, I think they have some serious shaft bend issue's, I have never hit the retail GSS version. I wanted to like it but I just cant putt with it and Jacque putts so much better with her mezza, the weight of it is perfect nice and heavy, what I like most is the feel and sound. I just cant get it to roll straight. I'm meeting up with Anserfreak this Tuesday and he will let me test his modified My girl putter to see if the problem is truly in the shaft bend. It sits kinda closed when it sits flat.
Guest
I hate any club that sits closed or even very square. Sounds like I should try out the centre-shafted Red X2. How does a Gauge M2 or M2+ sit at address?

How does a Gauge M2 or M2+ sit at address? I have tried all the GD Japan putters except a few older models, None of them sit like the My girl and test sample red X, My guess is that the Red X on tour has a modified bend in the shaft or a fitted lie angle. The quality of a CT Cameron is better than a GD Japan putter but the quality of a GD Jpn putter is much better than a retail Cameron such as the up coming red X.
