The new tourstage driver was actually in play at the masters by Petrovich here are some small scans of it. The MR23 Blades are completely sold out at bridgestone so I'm guessing the super small pic of the single CB is next falls MR23 CB. The X-Drive 2 is a proto that Maruyama used at the masters along with Izawa, It takes form in a 325 which is actually 340cc and a 350 which is 365cc.

US tourstage reps are supposed to get a special release of MR23s, though I am not sure if they are the blades or CBs. They were going to replace the badge with another one to make it different than the japan releases. This is coming from a rep who knew about the Xblades, MR23s etc....

Other new things that are coming are the F-HT 2004 and the X-wedge. To be honest the X-Drive 2 may not be double layer face as they call it. I know they are working on one I'm just not sure which one it is.

Can anyone contact a Tourstage N.A rep and find out if they are indeed leaving the U.S??

There were two sets of proto blades made for the U.S that I used to have pics of but I cant seem to find them.

Also I heard a rumor that Tourstage N.A might be releasing MR-23s with a different logo on them???

Chris,

I have been told by Bridgestone Australia that TourStage will be withdrawn from USA in 2005 due to the copyright infringement.

That is all the info they have supplied me at this stage but I will have further talks with them this week and will let you know if I learn anything further.

Regards,

Chris M

Its worse. They have to get rid of their entire Z-line inventory by June. There are already some discount Z150 and Z140 fairway woods on ebay. They are not sure what they are going to use in the US, but they signed Brandt Snedeker to play tourstage equipment.

I have had contact with a Precept/Tourstage Rep and he says they are NOT leaving the US or at least that is what he is being told. He says they have VERY few Z101s left in stock, no drivers and only a few fairways. He also said he is not sure of the new line for 05 but there is nothing new in 04. There is supposedly a Z101 replacement in the works for 05.
