A search would reveal a few more details than I could share, but I believe it's Tourstage prototype circa 2001. Never made it into production as TS went with the Xdrive shape instead. Allegedly the inspiration for early Nike drivers and the Ignite as well. Favored for it's feel and workability. If you're thinking about selling send me a PM. I live in So Cal also.

Maybe it was the shafts, but I thought the 1005/5002 combo I tried played softer than a set of firesole forged. It could have been the PX shafts in the Miuras that dampened vibration more than the TFR in the FFs, but the FFs felt slightly clicky as opposed to the Miuras.

Agoodgolfer, Were the weight kits at Frys (for $60) the 10 and 2 gram weights you get when you purchase the R7 or were different weights available?

Speaking to a retailer (Roger Dunn's) manager yesterday he told me that the R7 and R7 TP weight ports will NOT be interchangeable. I asked him if I could buy the R7 and the weightports for the TP when they came out and he said they wouldn't fit. Can anyone verify that? It would make sense if TM wanted to make the R7 and R7TP be distinct drivers. Retail managers though at Dunn's may not be the most reliable source.

Would like to sell a very clean set of Taylor Made Firesole Forged 3-PW. 6 iron has small ding at sole (doesn't effect play). Near zero bag chatter otherwise...maybe none at all, but being conservative heads are 8.5/10. Set is Miura forged and very soft. Rifle 5.0, Lamkin crossline grips. One small strip of lead tape in cavity backs. Can remove easily. If I had to guess about 37.75 on the 5 irons. Asking $500 paypaled and shipped. Open to offers. I think preppy's model is the ZM-001. Similar mallet design, but copper in color. Super sweet balance and feel. I thought Zodia was mostly known for their wedges, but the ZM001 putter has a great balance and feel.

I bought a Tour Rescue 19* with a Fuji Tour Spec 661 (Thanks DM) for $200. The head was a bit scruffed (described so) about 7+/10 but nothing that causes playability probs. In fact at address my eyes are so bad I don't even notice. Saw it for $200 and thought I scored a sweet deal as with that shaft and loft it was an ideal set up for me. One of the few items that has survived my BST purges and to paraphrase Peter Kessler...it's perfect.

Will trade the driver for a Lucky 13* Ignite Driver in Regular or Stiff flex. Thanks for looking.
