  1. For a hard swinger looking for LOW spin which of the following: Royal Collection Star FD Utility Tourstage X-UT 101W 2009 Tourstage EXE Utility Yamaha 2009 Inpres X D-ut Adams Tech a4 Idea Pro Gold Bridgestone J36 Callaway Diablo Titleist 909H Bobby Jones
  2. What's your opinion the best hybrid for a aggressive swinger...... looking for the lowest spinning JDM or US hybrid? Since Epon doesn't make one, i need an opinion here. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
  3. I've had this for a couple of years, only ever used it in one round while i was living in Phoenix. It's been sitting in my room ever since. It's in perfect condition........ not a thing wrong with it. Has the Premium Zone insert. Very soft feeling putter.... very nice balance as well. Only reason i'm selling it is because i prefer heel toe weighted putters. $215 PM me Thanks.
  4. PRIMO!! When will they be added to the Pro Shop!!??
  5. Just doing some browsing and came across these: $6000! Who actually buys these? They're obviously not worth it in terms of performance (compared to several much much more affordable irons) but just curious as to what kind of following they have... Thoughts, opinions welcomed.
  6. Topic says it all.

Good but not as good as ............... ? Where would you rank it? I've heard it's a major hit on the PGA tour right now. Super great dispersion, super low spin.

Aldila Voodo - I'm hearing this is THE shaft right now. Comments...
  9. I decided on TT X7's. I need low flight with low spin. The X-7's are apparently the best shafts at producing both of these things. They're a little bit heavier than X100's but supposedly smoother. I'll let you know what I think when i get em.
  10. Selling a set of Pings and Callaway and purchasing a set of Miura blades. Which shaft do you think would be best for A) A low piercing trajectory B) Preserving or complimenting the feel of the Miura blade. Nippon 1150 tours, Nippon Super Peening Blue KBS Tours Dynamic Gold X700 or X100 Black Golds Tour Concepts Project X I appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.
  11. Great reply. I didn't mean ridiculous in the sense that allowing different companies to share or use the same design is bad, rather, i meant it's ridiculous that certain companies sell an catalogue or open model head for 3 times the price of another company, claiming it's something special compared to a cheaper priced companies same basic head. Chris had a post about this.
  12. So i've been reading about catalogue and open model head designs. Yuri Yuri, Kyoei, Gold's Factory, Geotec, Vega, Etc, etc. Basically open model heads are designed and forged all by the same people then made unique by each company by stamps, colors and logos? So a Vega head and a Geotec head should feel identical? This seems a little ridiculous. Which companies don't sell open model and "catalogue" heads? Epon, Miura, Mizuno.........

Ok so in a beautiful world where money wasn't an issue, and you wanted the best quality forged steel/ best feeling Miura iron they've ever produced, which of the following is it? According to them. 1) MB-5003 2)US 2007 blade 3)US 1957 small blade special edition 4)Miuraism small blade (sb-01) 5)Miuraism SB-02 That's basically all I want to know. Thanks.

There's Miura North America. Then there's Miura Giken Japan (where Miura himself works). There's the japanese MB-5003 The Japanese Miuraism SB-01 (which actually came out in 2004 according to his website) And the North American 1957 small blade. Is the Miurism SB-01 a better forged iron than the 1957 small blade...... will it feel more pure or soft? Apparently they're the same size. One's Japanese and one's North American. What's the difference if any?
  16. Thanks guys. I'm really happy how it turned out too. He really is a special kind of artist.
  17. I don't have it yet, Gocchin just sent me the pics. Ships tomorrow. M. Sassaya completed it EXTREMELY FAST. Big Kudos to him and Gocchin.

Anyone ever try a Miura putter? Thoughts?
  19. I'm selling the following: A set of Callaway Fusion Irons (3-PW) with aftermarket True Temper Black Gold's professionally installed in Scottsdale Arizona. These are in great shape! Very little use at all. No more than 4 or 5 rounds. They're a forgiving yet playable. Highly rated iron. Length is +1 inch over standard. Grips are Golf Pride multi compound. ASKING $450 but WILL ACCEPT OFFERS! I'm also selling a BRAND NEW Callaway FT-I LCG driver (8.5) with a Matrix Ozik stiff shaft. Beautiful looking club. ASKING $275, WILL ACCEPT OFFERS! Please PM me. Thanks and enjoy!
  20. Sorry about that.
  21. http://www.vega-golf.com/ Expensive at most online stores.
  22. Which would you take and why? Gold's CB's. Miuraism SC-01 cavity backs Something in the Honma Beres lineup of irons - TW 903 perhaps Yamaha Inpres X V Forged Any other irons you think I should consider? (excluding Epon - already have a set). Thanks guys.
  23. I have quick question. I've noticed some PP Mill Spec putters have the lie angle indicator (F,S or U) filled in with red paint and the others left white and some have the lie letter filled in with white ink and the others left red. I've been wondering for a long time why this is. Do you happen to know? Thanks.
  24. iDrive - I love you! I love your passion for equipment and quality! Ya, the fusions...... very well liked by most. I went through my dark days with them so i kind of want to get rid of them. Don't need any mental reminders if you know what i'm saying. They're not forgiving forgiving but they're definitely a lot wide sole and top line and bigger all around face than Epon Type J's. I have a set of Mizuno MP-37's and i love them. I remember when i wont the Type J's and finally received them; I was shocked at how small the head on those things are. Are most japanese heads smaller than american? Either way, if you're a decent ball striker, you should have to be too concerned with forgiveness. I like the challenge of a less forgiving iron in most cases. Forces you to concentrate harder and if that doesn't work, at least forces you to work at your game more. So what's the shaft of choice if you were buying a new set of Gold's CBs?? What and why? I have Nippon Super Peening Blue's with my Type J's Dynamic Golds with the Mizuno Mp-37s Black Golds with the Fusions. Don't like the different kickpoints in the black golds. I don't want a shaft to do things, i want my swing to do things to affect trajectory. Thanks. Oh and P.S. I'll grab you a set if i can find em.
