  1. I have been reading great things about EMB driver lately. It seems like Axiv-x shaft is great combination but I am interested to know how TourAD QT MD shaft would work with the driver. Anybody have experience with this combo? I would appreicate your input on this. Thanks!

  6. Chris, Can you elaborate little more on dry fit? How does one dry fit a shaft to desired cpm? I don't remember seeing any club maker in my area to really do that so I would like to give them little info on that. Thanks!

I am bit confused on cpm values on AXIV-V shafts. I am considering AXIV-V 6070 and it seems to fit my spec overall but only problem is indicated CPM says 275. Isn't 275 more like X-STIFF or maybe little stiffer rather than stiff? I have been using 250~265 cpm range sbut never in 270s. Are they really that stiff? I would appreciate if anyone could give me insight on how I should interprete cpms on AXIV-V shafts. Thanks!

My take on blade vs cavity is little different. I've had and used all types of blades, cavity backs and so on. Cavity backs sure can help your game and improve fun part of the game but where do you get your fun from playing golf? IMHO, if you get satisfaction from using sexy looking blades, I think you should really stick with it. Your score may soar little bit but hey, we are not playing golf for living, aren't we? I thik pros switching to more forgiving cavity back type irons is natural trend since they play for living and one stroke could make a difference of day and night. For amateurs, if you enjoy playing with blades, I think it's way to go. For myself, I have recently had a chance to play blade and cavity back on same course back to back and interesting enough, scores were nearly the same, difference of less than 1~2 strokes. I am going with cavity backs only because they can produce shots that I desire more often than blades.

I am thinkg about bending lofts on my EPON wedges. One from 58 degrees to 56 and another one from 58 to 59 or 60. This would give me 3 wedge system, 52, 56 and 60. Does the bending lofts on wedges affect playability in any negative way? I would appreciate your input. Thanks!
