  1. That is very rare. No logos on visible part of shaft? So it's chrome finish?
  2. based on what we were discussing you can install anything you like. but it would be preferrable if your x100s were 7/8 iron shafts. but if you have a monaco tx/x in 7/8 that would be better imho
  3. yes you can use them NO dont butt trim them. yes! pros have been doing them for years. no dont tip! you want your shafts nice and firm but not TOO stiff for those delicate shots and maneuvers
  4. wedges are a tricky thing. there is no formula. some guys like kuchar and sneeds game aerotech i95s in irons yet x100 in wedges, luke donald uses s300 accross the board really depends and its a personal thing. but the usual case is couple of swing weights more than the irons. say d1 in irons and wedges around d4/d5 or say s300 in irons and heavy s400 in wedges. i dont think x100 in wedges is a good idea if you game 950s. usually what the pros will do is use a 7/8 iron shaft and install in their wedges for that softer feel for delicate wedge shots and maneuvers. they will however bump up the swing weight.
  5. ive snapped around 4 shafts in my life and its always when i am hitting the actual club. the fracture point is usually above the ferrule. i am yet to see any other shaft break other than this point above the ferrule. either heavy heavy load is imparted on the shaft for it to snap a foot above the ferrule or its a defective shaft.
  6. thats a given sir! with heavy wedges are my norm regardless of what i play in irons or driver. i dont know anyone who plays light wedges. this usually happens on a misbuild
  7. tricky. first of all a custom putter has your specs. specs may not be in line what a specififc buyer had in mind. or you are limiting the buyers to someone whose specs it is suited for. also if their are any personal stamps and initials it could affect the price. BUT if headweight is moderate and not too beyond the norm and devoid of any personal stampings you can price whatever you want. what do you have?
  8. the irons look like the 502s. any alpha gel inside? i love their apparel and bags!
  9. i will get the wedges if you can pull the shafts? i dont need them . only if you are open to the idea. il pay the same price
  10. are you sure there is nothing i have that you want?
  11. Yup new sets are around 400ish especially in stiff, the tx can be had for around 300ish Try to get some pulls, there were two sets sold here for around 300ish
  12. Haha it's no longer in my bag. This was an old photo note the 380 red devil, maru wedges Copper 302s. Long gone!
  13. those will be Elvish specs! i guess swing weight issues aside you should be fine.
  14. 390$ if you are headed your way to manila or know anyone that is. this is a mint like new bag. hardly used it. main use is to stock idle gear at home . wont ship this abroad as cost would be too much.
  15. sounds like a LD head?? at 189grams you have to shaft this with a 55-65 gram shaft and play it at 46.5-47" YOUR specs are very long driver esque.
  16. i hardly see my bro as hes in japan:)
  17. monaco plays true to flex and the modus is a half a flex under flex imho. the zen is amazing ! i dont use it enough though as i am so used to my trusty tad moore custom putter. same style and shape
  18. my sentiments exactly. the modus in 302s were bliss. miss em. but they are too high launching in the personals. monacos are the only true temper shafts i have truly liked. i like them bec they feel like the nippons. does that sound odd?
