  1. i get your point. all im saying is that i was able to do this with a super peening blue and nspro proto shaft. this was an experiment. i lined up the steps on my 4i and pw and cut the excess tip of the 4i. did the same with an extra proto shaft from a 3i. cut the tips. and they fit inside the hosel of my wedges. they are an excact fit. did not have to bore my wedges.

defintely doable on the cad part. as for moulds i think they have to start with a new one. a single iron mould runs into the thousands and thousands of dollars

you said it! only the best at no expense for your child.
  5. i only trimmed 3 inches from 4 iron to pw. do note that you also but trim after getting the same alignment in the steps. playing length of a 4=38.25 pw= 35.25 based on a 38" 5i. ive used 3iron and 4 iron pulls and made them wedge shafts. the steps align and the thickness of the tips are exactly the same thickness. and yes i am doing these on taper tip shafts. have tried em in nspros, protos and even DG.

Awesome. i will be there on april. i will make try to check that place out. made plans last year to go to japan on october but life happens. hope to eventually make the trip on april!
  7. diamana x is more than double the price. if this is an updated bluey this should sell not more than 400. while the x is in the 800 range. different class altogether.
  8. for those who do not like the zen, this will be up your alley:) great year!

i have been meaning to go for years! did not realize it was that far away. would a day trip suffice?
  10. That almost sounds perfect. Any newsmon a new W series?
  11. Ucan actuallycut the tip. Ido this all the time with some iron shafts If u have a 3 iron shaft and pw shaft, just align the steps and tip trim. You will get the same shaft in the end. Now with a graphite shaft it's a bit tricky since their are no steps.. Try aligning the labels and see
  12. Dirt dirt cheap. These run 600new

When Nike did an endo run in the early 2000s I head something like 30000 pcs per mould. But these were 400usd clubs. Yamaha has the tours At 1000pcs but at a premium 1500usd price. I'm sure tsger has the info
  15. I liked the 502 but found it sort of dead The 551s are clicky and lively.you can Feel the shot. That alpha gel has it's benefits Like vibration dampening etc etc but sacrifices some feel.

Nice, I have a trio of those coming!
  17. did i say modern lofts:) this will be a dream build
  18. the 102 is very 101 esque in the sole pics. note those pringle ridges used to be gold in color. the ridges on the 103 are clean, angular and as stew mentioned very personal-like if the zero is the F1 of their driver line up the 103 is more like japan GT or german DTM
  19. Yup yup I have gamed the 551 for 2 weeks and love it. So much cleaner And more dramatic than the 502 .. In essense the perfect combo set! I have my 103 as well and just waiting for her shaft! Your pics of the 103 are priceless

i would play 50 54 58 or 50 55 60 or even 50 56 60. im not particular about my middle sand wedge. it can be 54/55/56 for all i care as long as my gap is 50 and my lob is 60 the 58 is playing at 60 now. i dont really tinker with Lie on my wedges. its at stock like
  22. sporting mode modern lofts and the grind is like the mp68. will be very playable. unfortunately i wont have these for long! note to you guys, never ship to the office especially if your wife is in the same office!
  23. they arrived from the finisher! i think i paid more for the finishing, stamping, grooving on the heads but they are worth it. they have a grainy satin finish that is almost cloudy to behold. these suckers look like a modern design and the grind is spectacular! i am shafting a 6 and pw for fun. my wife saw these and was pissed as hell!!! with the af tour

i think the 52-54 is a great idea. i was going to do the same as i have a ping 50* in the bag. so just let me know. do you want the 58 as is? or bend it back to 58? i can also bend to your preferred lie angle. for 50 get the Vokeys. been meaning to get one. nice and compact
  25. Spoon replied to RIduffer's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I play the yams 52 and 58 bent to 6o no probs. I can bend em for you.. For a wedge 2degs is negligible At least for me..
