DREAM MACHINE
Spoon replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gear
damn! i have seen this before in the usa but not done as tastily as this. looks like a freakin philippe starck boutique hotel inside. amazing! looks better than my home! even has a mini garage for your smart car -
you can get that done BUT the head weight will be reduced. so to add the weight back youl have to go with some sort of tungsten inserts wether in face or sole

i think i found some guys. i think

couple of hours ago i drove my best buddys ride, stew, these were aftr i called you after the photo shoot and the single malt(1 winsie glass) i drove an older 500e El terminator and he drove an e39 e55 and my other bud drove the Alpina tuned m5. just fooling around the m5 alpina had the best gizmos a perfect mate of electronica and brute force while the e55 was plain boring! imagine a jacked up chauffer with no driving skills whatsoever, now the e500 the monster of its day was pure steroids but no mind to harness all that power and torque. bimmer wins hands down again.

islay only baby, as i post this thread i had some ardbeg and shoju so i should probably vote twice on the poll. nothing beats the medicinal oaky burnt toast taste of pure islay single malt, oh soo yummy! ending the night with some hot ramen and a purchase of some golf gear:) tomorrow will be fun haha

i have tried the 120+ gram ks tour S flex. imagine a dgs300 shaft with nspro feel.:)

i was totally happy with my 50 56 combo after seeing this thread my wedge set up is in chaos and got a 3 wedge combo 52,56,60 and unsure wether to bend to 50 55 60. will see. cant wait!

well that is his basic standard, i always wonder why 6* but i can imagine the FA being 4* open which will suit the gate style of putting although i prefer somthing in 0*. well anything goes he can pretty much do anything you want. im still waiting on a quote for a golds tune up. let us all know how goes, the putter is the only club in my bag that has been neglected ll these yerars

thanks for doing this, compare it with something you would normaly use if you did not have the chipper.

i was going to say the same thing:) -
i have two slots in my bag at the moment, im really considering one of the lower lofted prgr chippers. let is know how it goes, il be monitoring this thread.

i check it almost everyday , got a lot of good deals from that section.

yes it is. thats the e39 m5. i have driven the e39 and the current v10 m5 and the e39 takes the cake. it is easier to drive and more of a driving machine with its 6 speed manual transmission vs the smg v10. also the v10 was notorious for city driving and would wreck havoc on the driver. felt like a sick puppy in the city but on the open road a mean marvel of engineering. looks, specs performance the current m5. for sheer driving pleasure e39 m5 all the way. his interpretation of the m5 ute is just a waste!

yeah i was quite dissapointed with the tour ads, and those were supposed to be their high end graphite shafts. they felt so dead, me and my dad had the same obeservations, he was using 65/75 and i the 85 about 4 years ago. when he switched to the axivs he felt a world of improvement in feel and performance. now according to him quads are in a different level i guess would be at par with the higher end matrix and roddios.

yup yup. considering the 3 year gap, you can really see the shared Dna. i did not even know they went belly up, guess im not up to date with the usdm gear. i really enjoyed the sonartec woods from circa 06/07 those were really long!
-
im quite surprised that they can make one of the highly rated, easy to use and very long fairway woods in the EGG but their driver is just mediocre. i too tried this late last year and was not impressed enough to switch my current gamer. dont get me wrong feel was good and i actually like the looks, they just dint have the distance gains one would see when switching to an egg spoon fw.

Ryoma Premia 8.5 + Crazy Hot Black 7.4
Spoon replied to Jerry in China's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
let us know how it goes. youl be able to see the pure flight now:) -
Tsg'er is right about the 208 being less forgiving while the 210 having less spin. i gamed the 208 then replaced them with the 210. the 210s are a joy to use especially when opened up. however i replaced them bec of the spin. noticeable off the rough, im back to the 208s.

Ryoma Premia 8.5 + Crazy Hot Black 7.4
Spoon replied to Jerry in China's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
haha that would be awesome! if only we all had a golf trackman launch monitor at home, we would certainly all sleep peacefully. seriously though things should pan out tomorrow. if you really cannot sleep go hit one outside and forget the distance:) -

i know how you feel. nothing like feeling dissapointed in the range, im sure you are so excited to test the club for real in actual course. im surprised about your comments on ryoma actual driver. i have not seen one in real life so i cannot comment on the quality. i think you should game it first, hitting in range is a very different animal. im sure those with real world experience of ryoma and crazy can share some inputs with you. good luck -
