  1. I just off-loaded a ZY-7 to the UK. It is a great looking head and the sound is a muted thud. Unfortunately for me, I can't get it airborn. Well, I got it up a bit but not to where I'd like. Great looking head though. I too am interested in the Galpha.

Hey lads, I've used the KBS tour black/gun metal wedge shafts for years and years now. I'm looking for something new - steel only apply. I tend to hit the ball with good contact and I'm neutral to steep coming into the ball. I used to take huge divots but they are more moderate these days. I want my wedge shafts to have a good balance between life and rigidness. What shafts would you suggest? DG Black Onyx? K's HW 120? Something else? Or just stick to the KBS? Björn
  3. They do look tasty! I have had the Gekku's, I currently have the SDJ Proto 115, but I can definitely see these in my bag with some tasty black tinted shafts. The wedges actually look a lot like my all time favorite RC 6150 wedges. I love them.

The crew of loyal buy/try/sell guys has decreased so much. I honestly don't know why and where everyone has gone. I still have the same interest I did more than 10 years ago when I joined here. I have loads of stuff that a few years ago would have been gone in a heartbeat that I can't move these days. How is eBay for Jap things? Is that our next/last resort? If not, what is crooked around here and how do we fix it? Your driver is awesome D and I hope someone else on here gets their act together and buy it.

Taste is subjective, but if I added 15 yards and hit 15 % more fairways, this would not be in my bag. Gaudy and hideous.
  6. They are both all business. Nice!

? if you added ”for 250” I would have laughed my head off.
  8. I think that is really hard to say. A driver and an FW are very different in terms of how you swing.

There is no c/s though in the proshop, just the heel shafted mallet if I’m not mistaken. As far as I’m concerned, one may ask whatever price one wants (within the rules of the forum). These days, getting what you want and what you consider fair is not the same as what you will end up getting. When it comes to this listing, shipping is a big factor - shafted or head only. I believe that the price of a new putter with shaft will end up adding 40 bucks or so to the price.
  10. I’ve changed a lot of clubs over the years. Not as many as Stew, but a lot. With over 100 putters, half of them collectors things that never touched a ball though, I’ve never felt as much as home as with my GF. I changed the shaft out to a Nippon heavy and did nothing else until a year ago when I had it refinished by TSG and a Teramoto added. That shaft will probably be pulled and the Nippon goes back. It is just right that way. I hope the Benock is your ”happy place”. All the other clubs in the bag are for changing constantly though ?

I don’t love the name but who cares right? I want one. Trade for a set of PRGR idbl or a Grandista LS1, or an Epon 460zr, or a Jbeam zy7, or a TRPX D or an Agrind Classic or, worst case, a combination of stuff? 10*+ Looking forwards!
  12. I’m happy for you! Feeling at home with a putter one of the best feelings ever. My PS2 is doing that for me and has now for 6 years. More than 40 Scottys have been in and out of my door. A Benock may be invited in though..

I have a 6150 56* bent to 55*. Shafted with a KBS Tour black nickel shaft.
  14. What is the difference between this shaft and the white/blue Bangvoo Premium?
  15. Yupp - now we’re talking! I need me one of those, or three.

I have tried a bunch of JDM drivers and currently have 9 to my name. I’ll never go back to USDM tbh. I started out with persommon Honmas back in the day, then alloy (I think) Honmas, then titanium Honmas. Now the best looking ones are Epon 460zr in my opinion. Super soft, not the longest and quite frankly, who cares? I have a 9.5 and a 10.5 on its way. In terms of forgiveness I think the Grandista LS-001 is the easiest driver I’ve ever hit. I have two and will keep one for days when I can’t swing..
  19. I agree. It does look way better. Still ugly though. Not only the graphics - horrid - but also the shape. I don't get it. Today I gripped my old Epon 460zr and concluded that for a 460cc driver it is close to perfection.

That's what Tiger did to his 8-iron too in 2001... Great looking head Stew! The shaft is off-course awesome for anyone with a swing speed over 100 mph that prefers to hit the ball in the center of the fairway with low spin. It's all about control for stronger players. Loved my Diamana X 70s but sold it in a moment of weakness.
  21. Nice stuff Nobs! Someone has to get that MP Craft soon or it may end up in Sweden. And I really don't need it.
  22. No, it most certainly does not fit everyone. I've just moved into the high 60g range shafts and my preferred head weight is 205g. Control is everything for me. 44-44.5" is my preferred length.
